"That's true.. hmm, maybe we should move onto the last move, I suppose the leap and hold is difficult without being able to use claws. But well anyways, the last move I think is the tail yank! It's as straight forward as it sounds, if your opponent forgets to watch their tail you can bite it and yank to try and pull them off balance or just general damage to the limb. A mangled tail is a way to end a fight really fast. So how about we use all the knowledge we just went over in one big spar! Feel free to throw anything you want at me!" The warrior smiled at his apprentice as he finished explaining the last move of the beginning battle lesson for her, then he dropped down into a battle stance and waited for his apprentice to make the first move in this spar. He wondered how this will go.

Well.... she wouldn't go an try to leap on Orangeberry! "Grr.." she pretend growled, and then swiped her front paw at her mentors face.

Orangeblossom stepped back, easily avoiding his apprentice’s swipe at him. It wasn’t the most concealed and surprising attack ever and it was easy to see coming. Did he go over feints? He couldn’t really remember honestly so as he stepped forward he pretended to aim a hit at Berrypaw’s ear only to switch the direction and aim for her shoulder instead swiftly. Learning in practice may help regardless. “Did I go over feints?”
