The dens were leaking? Larkswoop´s green gaze narrowed as Wolfhive called out the groups, a shudder of relief running down her spine as the Head Hornet paired her with her brother and an apprentice.
Larkswoop beckoned Breezepool and Snakepaw over to her with a flick of her tail, shouldering her way through the crowd to meet the two cats halfway. She gave her companions a nod. ´´If the dens are leaking, I want to fix the roof as soon as possible,´´ The broad-shouldered she-cat explained with a wave of her plumy tail. ´´Snakepaw, why don´t you go see if there are any spare brambles around the camp that we can use to fix up the elders´ den? We all know how much they dislike soggy nests, and how they stiffen an elder´s joints.´´
With a nod to the apprentice, Larkswoop turned to her littermate. ´´I want to make sure that the elders are taken care of while we do this, though I also want Snakepaw to be able to help with the repairing of the den. I didn´t have much time to give this any thought, so I´ve decided - and if you two are willing to go along with this - that all three of us will have our fair share of turns on checking on the Clan´s elders and making sure that whatever they need is taken care of.´´

Snowpaw listened to Wolfhive rattle off names for the different sections. Then, she heard her own name-- And she was going to help with the medicine den!! Woah! That's super important!! She got an important job! AWESOME!! Snowpaw looked around for the other cats she was assigned with. "Cedarstrike? Skunkridge?" she called. She'd never met those warriors before, so she didn't know who she was looking for. She bounded over to a random cat, asking, "Are you Cedarstrike or Skunkridge?" and if they weren't either of them, whether they responded with a no, or shook their heads, or whatever they responded with, she'd bound away and ask another cat immediately.

She was just about to head over when a white apprentice-must be Snowpaw-was in front of her asking if she was Cedarstrike or Skunkridge.
"I'm Skunkridge!" The tuxedo replied with a smile "Let's get over there."
With the usual enthusiasm, Skunkridge made his way over to the medicine den.

Cedarstrike was already on her way to the medicine den when she heard someone calling her name from behind her. "Ah? I'm here!" She spoke up. "We'll get this done pretty quickly, I think."

Maplekit padded over to nursery,
chest puffed out,
where she then sat down next to Nightwhisper and Burnedpaw.
She was totally gonna be the biggest help ever!
They wouldn’t even need to do any work, she was gonna be that good of a helper!
She knew some of the other cats didn’t look too good,
so the clan needed all the help they could get in repairs!
Plus, The other kits were gonna be soooo jealous,
’So when are we gonna start?’
The she-kit asked, tail flicking.
Maplekit’s yellow eyes flicked across the clearing impatiently,
and she had her ears pricked, just in case.

Larkswoop´s ears perked up at the sound of Wolfhive´s hoarse voice and coughing. Touching her nose to Breezepool´s cheek, she murmured something in her brother´s ear. ´´He doesn´t sound - or look, for that matter - too good. I´m going to check on him. Make sure that Snakepaw finds those brambles, and help her if she needs it.´´
Turning around, Larkswoop´s green eyes narrowed as she shouldered her way through the crowd toward Wolfhive. ´´Wolfhive,´´ She mewed, her voice soft. ´´I couldn´t help but notice that you don´t look - or sound - very well. Are you feeling all right?´´

he wasn't sure what she was on about, then again wolfhive wasn't sure about many things in the moment. he was tired, felt awful, and the second he tried to rest, boom - bothered.
if he weren't sick, he wouldn't have minded - he liked shockhoney! it just made him cranky right now. he grumbled, shuffling weakly away from her. "dont.. touch." because really, when someone said they're sick, why would you keep touching them?? ".. not dying.. this is new." well, in a way.
he contemplated explaining. it wasn't something that came easily when some words simply did not exist in his cat dictionary. ".. i was fine. then we were.. poisoned, and i.. was not fine. not anymore." it wrecked him for moons, destroyed his body's ability to fend off illnesses other cats could shrug off easily.
realistically, touching him right now would be fine, he just didn't like risking it. there was already a spell of sickness throughout the clan he just didn't want to add to. if not for how mandatory it was to have functional dens, he wouldn't have even organized this. "dont believe.. everything that ..crabapple tells you." [ @Rose ]
his response toward risingstorm was an irritated flick of his tail, because moons of being cooped in the medicine den made him wary of going in there again. once he found energy to walk again, he planned on slinking off into bumba's den and crashing - he just... couldn't yet. besides, there were plenty of younger cats who could use whatever treatment they had first.. he'd weathered these storms before and would do it again.
(in essence, he was stubborn. being sick was an inconvenience, and he hated things being delayed as a result.)
and now larkswoop was here. "dont... you have a... den to work.. on?" he is irritated, there was no doubt. sickness tended to sour one's mood and he'd already been pestered aplenty just by existing. three, five questions, different cats. within mere minutes. "'m fine.." fine enough!
actually, all this ruckus was enough to make him withdraw more. slowly, wolfhive made a weak and awkward shuffle away from everyone, initially toward the clearing's edge but his end goal was to bumba's den. he wasn't going too close while it was being worked on, just wanted to be less.. noticed. no thank u.
Larkswoop frowned. By the look of Wolfhive, the broad-shouldered tabby could tell that the Head Hornet was not fine, even if he said he was. She wanted to tell him that she didn´t believe him, but it was better to leave it where it was at. The ThunderClanner wasn´t going to argue.
Instead, the warrior dipped her head respectfully. ´´My brother and Snakepaw are finding spare brambles around the camp to strengthen the walls of the elders´ den. I told them I would help after I checked on you,´´ She mewed, her tail swaying agitatedly behind her. Wolfhive was not okay, and even Risingstorm could see it. Larkswoop wondered if she´d have to get Bumblestar to drag her son to Wolfpaw and Hollowpaw. Her ears twitched, her green gaze narrowing down to slits as she exchanged a worried glace with Risingstorm.

Oh dear, Wolfguy looked like a sad lump on the ground. She skirted around him and looked for another authority figure. Where, where... Aha! "Uh, miss Redhawk?" She gently prodded at the russet-colored Hornet with a paw. "I'm sorry I missed the first call... Can I still help?" Big blue kit eyes looked up and blinked a couple times for extra effect. Surely she couldn't say no to Timberpaw!
A heavy sigh left Violetfreckle's body as she caught sight of Wolfhive. The poor Hornet looked absolutely wrecked by whatever sickness he'd caught. Alright, time to try to be the voice of reason. Great. The fluffy cat made her way over and looked down at her mate's son. "Alright kid. I've got two options for you." She took a seat near where he lay, sandwiching herself between him and the rest of the building crew. "Either you go see Wolfpaw and Hollowpaw and put someone else in charge here, or I tell Bumblestar that you're out here killing yourself." She loved Bumblestar but StarClan above she was a massive hypocrite. She pushed Violet to take care of herself while she herself was out of the den from dawn to dusk and beyond. But hopefully that would be in her favor this time. She stared down at Wolfhive, who really just looked like a lump of fur more than anything. Her tail flicked and, despite her long exhale, she gave him a long blink to show she cared and wasn't just being difficult to be difficult.
Nightwhisper saw his son, Emberkit looked at him wide eyed. "Dad dad dad! What are you doing?" Nightwhisper gave a gentle purr to his son, "Were going to make sure you and your mother are nice and cozy, promise me to care for your mama? Make sure she doesn't leave unless it's for food or if we tell her to. Ok?" Nightwhisper meowed gently, cooing his sons antics to calm him as Nightwhisper watched Emberkit nod importantly and leap around in a circle. "Go on." He told his son, watching him race back into the nursery. He spotted Weepingwillow poke her head to glare at him, Nightwhisper snorted in amusement. Nightwhisper spotted Acornfall, whom his son Emberkit was very fond of and even called him "Uncle Acornfall" now. "Acornfall." Nightwhisper called, his tone gentle but strong.
Acornfall's ears turned when he heard his name. He smiled a big wide grin when he saw Nightwhisper. "Hey, Nightwhisper!" He mewed cheerfully. "I'll be by to visit with everyone when we're done here!" He flicked his tail to indicate he was referring to his assigned construction group. He kinda wished he could go and visit now, but he knew he'd get to play with Emberkit better once everything was finished.

Burnedpaw followed Maplekit, looking over his shoulder at Nightwhisper and glancing around for Skylark. When they reached the nursery, he looked to Nightwhisper when the kit asked her question. Since he was currently the only warrior present for this, he figured Nightwhisper would provide directions on what they should do first.

Snowpaw bounded in front of a warrior, asking her question, and to her delight they said they were Skunkridge. "Okay!" she replied enthusiastically, following the older warrior. "I'm Snowpaw! We're helping with the medicine den, right? Is that an important job? I bet it is. Wow! What will the medicine den be like? Will I get to see actual herbs?! Cool!" she chattered to Skunkridge as they walked. Then she saw a brown warrior in front of her, who had turned around to speak. "Oh hi! Are you Cedarstrike? I was wondering where you were! Because Wolfhive had said you would be here with us, to help! With the medicine den!" she said.
