Rugged Range

Adderstrike walked out to the Rugged Range on her spree of fun, you need a vacation every now and then especially with all the drama that happened, and she dragged Sharkhail and Honeystep along with her. A wide grin came across her face when she saw a dead tree in the distance.

"Bet I could beat you all to that dead tree-" Before Adderstrike could even finish, Sharkhail bolted to the tree. She stared at him for a few seconds in bewilderment before she chased after him. It was a short race but Sharkhail beat Adderstrike since he was a big cheater and didn't wait for her to say go.

Annoyed, Adderstrike looked back to see how far away Honeystep was. And there she was, standing at the spot the race started with an annoyed look on her face. What was up with that?

Dusklion - RiverClan Deputy

Her daily trips around all parts of RiverClan territory brought her out to Lionsrange. The deputy was still looking for a morsal or two to bring back to the Clan, but so far she wasn't having any luck. Hopefully the hot weather would easy up soon because it seemed like no prey was out - except for a few birds in the sky.

Trotting along the tree line that separated Lionsrange from the forest, the deputy felt something squish under paw and she stopped. Lifting her paw up there was a streak of mud across her paw pad now. "Yuck," she scrunched her nose up and proceeded to wipe her paw along the rocky terrain next to her. It made a streak across the rock with mud, and Dusklion blinked. Seeing there was still a bit of mud on her paw she dragged it across the stone once more, then back down again, and repeated the motion once more.

Once she was down she blinked at her creation with a smile. The way the mud had been smeared made it look like there were muddy waves painted onto the rock. "There, some water for this dry place," she muttered under her breath, amusement in her tone, before continuing on with her patrolling.

Seabreeze continued to walk through the territory. All the way from the twoleg den to the rugged range. Maybe it wasn't the smartest thing to do, to put himself and Adderstrike so far away from everyone else but also he needed to get away. Besides this would be a great place to find some broom which could be helpful for Berrypaw. He imagined that the forest also holds some other herbs as well. Strange how he recalled herbs relatively easily when he couldn't remember what happened yesterday on a good day. He shook away the thought and focused on conversing with Adderstrike. "Thank you again, Adderstrike, for coming with me. I know that the rugged range is pretty far away but there are some herbs here that grow best and I think they would be pretty helpful for Berrypaw. And we could always get some prey as well if we think we can carry more after we collect all the herbs we can."

Since this wasn't an officially official patrol, they weren't required to get any one thing and could pick up whatever they find and not worry about not doing enough of what they were assigned to. Though he didn't think Dusklion would really mind if you brought back some herbs on a prey patrol if you spotted them. "It's used for infections. That was my target, but I was also hoping to find some chickweed and juniper as well if we are lucky. They are pretty good general use herbs if I remember correctly." He flicked his nub tail and continued to pad through the rockier territory, his eyes glancing back and forth for any signs of the named herbs.
