Abandoned Twoleg Den (All RiverClan Cats Welcome)

Jaggedkit joined everyone else in going to the "nursery". He thought it was weird to call a certain part of the den the nursery like it was anything more than some corner, but oh well. He wasn't very far from it anyways.

Bluekit purred at her sisters praise. “We did it Songkit!” she squealed as she felt her brother go limp underneath her. “We did it! We defeated the dark forest cat!” She said, pulling of of her brother and jumping up and down. She then turned and looked up at Rainsong. “Did you see us mama, Songkit and I won!”

Songkit held her head up high, gazing down at her brother's "corpse" from the corner of her eye. "Poor, poor Shallow. He never stood a chance, did he, Bluekit?" She poked Shallowkit with a paw, then looked to her sister. "Eew, we better get rid of him before he starts getting all stinky," she mewed with a smirk, before nudging at Shallowkit with her nose and beginning to roll him over. "Well, we better toss 'im into the river!"

Shallowkit screamed and scrambled to stand up. He ran over to Rainsong and started wailing. "Momma! They're gonna throw me in the river!" He yowled and glared at Songkit.

Bluekit giggled, and nodded. She moved closer to Songkit ready to help her. “Stinky cat!” She said scrunching up her nose.

Rainsong turned her eyes on Shallowkit, she leaned down and started to lick his head. “Now now, Shallowkit. They aren’t gonna do that, it’s just a game.” She purred. “You got to be nice to your sisters. You are the only tom, that means you need to protect them.” She said nudging him.

Bluekit looked at her mother, when she said those words. “No I can protect myself. I’m gonna be the best warrior ever!” She yelled as she jumped up and down, from side to side with her claws out. “Come get me thunderclan!”

"Yeah, I was just joking!" Songkit whined and narrowed her eyes at her brother. "River's too far away anyway." She padded over to her brother and sat on the ground next to him. "How ya gonna be a warrior if you keep running to mama for help?" Songkit teased him with a grin, gently bumping her shoulder into him as she stood up to face her sister. With an excited squeal, she clumsily pounced into Bluekit, sending both kits tumbling on the ground. Songkit flopped to her side in a fit of giggles. "Yeah! Me and Bluekit are gonna be the strongest warriors you've ever seen!"

Shallowkit frowned and glanced up at their momma. He grumbled and listened to what Bluekit said. "Yeah! Thunderclan's a bunch of stinkers! They're missing out on all of the good fish!" He agreed, ignoring Songkit. "They also don't get to have peaceful swims in the river! Well, we used to.." He added, frowning more at the memories of being next to the river.

Bluekit laughed as she was tumbled to the floor as Songkit pounced on her. Bluekit continued to giggle as she stood up and shook out her fur. “Shallowkit, are you scared of water?” She asked moving closer to him with a tilt of her head. From the sound of it, it sounded like he was a little scared

Songkit rolled onto her stomach and let out an exaggerated sigh. "I miss the river. How long do ya think we're gonna be here?" She looked at the twoleg shelter around them, frowning slightly. It was so much less interesting than the camp was. Sure, it was safe, but it was less colorful, less alive, less everything. And there were way less bugs to chase around. She pawed absentmindedly at a tiny ant running by, sighing again as if to express just how deeply bored she was here. "It's soooo boring here."

Shallowkit tilted his head. "Uh, what made you think I'm scared of water?" He asked, genuinely confused.

Shallowkit nodded at Songkit. "Yeah. It really is." He meowed sadly and collapsed onto his side. "I do miss the river. I wanna swim." He complained

Shallowkit stood up and ran to Rainsong. "Rainsong! Can we.. sneak over to our old camp and swim?" He asked.
