Alpinepaw did not know that a warrior could demoted to be a kit until now. This made her a bit weary of the Hornets. Other than that, she was relieved that Tigerkit was gone. It was strange that full-grown cat can be a kit.

She replied as she looked at Honeydew, "Yes, I'm fine." She bounded off to the fresh-kill pile.

Alpinepaw lowered her head and picked up a plump dead hawk. Someone had killed it and brought it back. Hopefully, this would be enough for the both of them. The apprentice brought the hawk back to the Warriors' Den with some struggle.

Honeydew giggled, and took a step forward to help her with the hawk. They both brought it back. Honeydew dropped her end of the hawk and sat down on her nest. “Come join me. It’s warm.” She said.

She tried laying in her nest but kept panting. She scanned for some shade. It was way too hot. She couldn’t take it. Her fluff was AMAZING in the winter, but in heat? Right now for some reason she especially couldn’t take it. She stood up and paced around, trying to maybe cool down. A breeze came (which relaxed her) then it stopped and she was miserable again. Why couldn’t she just cool down or find shade? She was constantly panting and she desired that she could leave camp and get water.

Maybe she should ask someone? Yeah, yeah that was it. She desperately looked around for BumbleStar.

The young tortoiseshell cat dragged the hawk into Honeydew's nest. It was about the same size as her. Fortunately, it could not carry her off due to her weight. The nest was warm as expected. Somehow, Honeydew's nest is larger than a normal nest.

Honeydew watched as Alpinepaw sat down beside her, she watched as the young apprentice got comfortable. Her eyes watched be her carefully. “Are you comfortable?” She asked, as her left ear flicked.
