Willowpaw and Hummingbirdsong training thread <3

Hummingbirdsong woke, the barely pregnant she-cat streched. Grooming her pelt neatly she thought about when she'd met her first apprenitce. Gosh she hoped they knew the basics. How would she teach that with a straight face? Would she give enough feedback? The stress of being a mentor was already overwhelming, and she hadn't even started. Hummingbirdsong gently licked her mate Mushroomglow's ear, letting her know she was going out early to train her apprentice. After padding out she went to the apprentice den, grabbing a decent rabbit on the way. "Willowpaw wakey wakey, we've got training to do and I'd rather get it done before the breezes come about." Hummingbirdsong called, "I've got you breakfast."

Willowpaw hadn’t been asleep, so she lifted her head at Hummingbirdsong’s summons. She saw the rabbit in her new mentor’s mouth and got up to follow her for breakfast.
“Thanks Hummingbirdsong.” Willowpaw meowed.

Hummingbirdsong nodded gently, "You weren't asleep? You need rest if your to train properly, especially with me. I train early in the mornings." Hummingbirdsong warned. Hummingbirdsong flicked her tail. Sitting down, to wait for her apprentice to eat. As Hummingbirdsong sat, it was now visiable that she was pregnnat, her belly sticking out from the sides.

Hummingbirdsong gave a soft purr. "Thank you." as she waited for her apprentice to finish eating. Maybe when Willowpaw was a warrior, she would mentor one of her kits. It's a possibility.

Willowpaw ate her fill and pushed the rest of the rabbit to Hummingbirdsong.
“Would you like some?” Willowpaw asked slightly louder than was necessary. “Or have you eaten already?”

(Willowpaw spoke loudly because she’s going deaf. Just to avoid confusion )

Hummingbirdsong flicked her ears at the apprentice's loud tone. "Well I won't let that happen hopefully." Hummingbirdsong mewed, "Alright, so we should get some running started then. There's streches that you'll need to do for the first few weeks, if they become habits, even better." Hummingbirdsong mewed. "So come along." Hummingbirdsong led her apprentice to probably THEE most open spot, the moor itself. "See that bush? That's your check mark, you run from me to the bush, around the bush, then from the other side of it back to me. Try it once and I'll correct you as we go. One thing I will warn you about is your breathing. Don't breathe to hard or you'll pass out, don't breath to slow or you'll run out of breath, let you breathing match your pace."
