The she scanned the clearing. She had heard of some need for honey or something like that, so why not risk a bee sting and get some? Her eyes landed on a rather fierce looking warrior, unsure of his name and all, but she was pretty sure her apprentice said he trained him? Whatever, good enough. “Hey! You—wanna help me gather some honey?”

Fly tail had been sitting in the clearing itching to go out when he heard someone approach him. He looked up hm honey hunting it has been a while since he had helped collect honey he knew a few tricks “Sure I’ll go names Flytail yours?” He asked while standing up and walking by the new cat

“Nice to meet ya—my names BristleThorn. I’m pretty sure ya trained my apprentice once? SpiderPaw?” she questioned, getting ready to head out of camp. “Also, I hope ya know more about this than me. I know next to nuthin.” she shared. Honestly, she didn’t know entirely why she was doing this in the first place! Perhaps to meet some cats as she didn’t have many friends? Probably.

Flytail nodded “ah yeah I did train spiderpaw nice apprentice he listens well though he seems to be up in the clouds sometimes nothing he can’t fix though” he says while walking next to BristleThorn “I know a few tricks on getting honey but we’re going to need some leaves perferbly big ones and some clay or mud” he says while looking around

Flytail nodded “yes let’s go find some say you mind a hive I’ll go get some clay you don’t have any issues with getting dirty do you?” He asked if BristleThprn did he would have to do the collecting part himself his former mentor had taught him to cake clay onto himself that way if a bee stung it wouldn’t go into his skin and instead the clay

Flytail nodded and went off looking for some clay. He eventually foundt some near a rock he began to dig hmm he would need to wet it he saw a puddle nearby so he dipped the clay into the water once nice and wet he caked it on himself. Once finished he went and looked for Beiatlethorn his black pelt was now caked in clay and mud “there’s some clay over there I recommend caking it on like this prevents stings!” He says with a happy light in his eyes “Did you find a hive?”

It took her a bit to discover a hive, but when she heard a close-by buzzing, she immediately looked up and long behold, an active bee hive remained in a tree. She then found FlyTail, appreciative for his help. She went over to where he said the clay was, and covered herself in it as much as possible (ew ew ew). “Ah- yeah, over here!” she lead the way to the hive.
