The sun and black fur do not mix well.
Some of her fur had already turned a but red because she said in the sun so much, her neck and tail, but this heat just sucks.

At the moment, she's founded a shaded spot in the clearing, and is laying in it.

Okay, so he thought he had it all planned out. Go to your bestie, and have a fun competition! Apparently, for some odd reason, he hadn’t planned out what kind of contest. He looked around quickly, scavenging for something they could do in camp. Hmm…nothing seemed too interesting or safe. He then looked up to the sky. “A sun staring contest!” he concluded proudly.

Seconds later he was forced to blink and look away, having a bunch of spots in his vision! Oh no did he go blind? What would he do- oh, never mind. They slowly faded away and he looked back at his friend, shocked to see her still looking. “How?” he said shocked, still letting his vision recover.
