It was a rather warm afternoon, much to the dismay of most of the darker-pelted cats in the clan. However, Hollykit was lucky enough to be born with bright white and ginger patches, neither of which absorbed too much heat.

The windclan kit sat boredly in the nursery. He was so so SO very close to becoming an apprentice. It was just a matter of mere days now. He could practically taste his freedom.

He sat in the den opening, his tail waving behind him as he stared out at the camp entrance. His mother had gone out that morning but had yet to return. He sighed, she'd promised him and his sister that she'd teach them about hunting. She'd also said that if they were good she'd even teach them some basic combat stuff.

Hollykit huffed and dramatically threw himself into his mother's nest, next to his sister "I'm so boreddddd, mama said she'd teach us stuff when she got back but she isn't back yet" He whined out, his tail tip twitching as he rolled onto his back, turning his head to look at his sister.

Fallenkit licked her flank, then looked up at her littermate. Bored? She mewed. Wanna play? She gave her brother a tiny push, and flicked her tail.

The push surprised the kit for a second, but a grin quickly crossed the Windclan kit's maw as he crouched.

The white and red kit's green eyes locked onto his sister, his tail lashing playfully behind him "How dare you push the great Hollystar?" He called out, his voice echoing through the den.

He didn't waste any time. Hollykit launched himself at his sister, attempting to land on her side, if that was successful, he'd try to swipe gently at her nose with his paw.

Fallenkit giggled, even though she knew that her brother was a bit stronger than her. She toppled over under Hollykit's weight, and she tried kicking out with her back paws.

Despite their size and weight difference, she kicked him off. He laughed, getting into a defensive crouch. Hollykit narrowed his eyes as he watched his sister closely, waiting for her to make a move.

Grinning, Fallenkit dropped low, inching towards her brother. She hauled herself towards her brother, aiming for his chest. She twisted midair, and after her attempt to land on him, she would supposivly swat his ears.

Hollykit watched her closely. The blow to his chest hit, stunning and winding the tom, making it easy for her to land on him. He laughed loudly, as he ducked his head, barely dodging the blow to his ears

"Ha! Nice try! You're gonna have to try harder though" He said sticking his tongue out playfully. His tail waved as he dropped to the ground, preparing to roll in an attempt to either squish her or knock her off.

After rolling the tom jumped to his paws quickly, turning to face her once more.

Squashed under her littermate's weight, she sprung up, facing him once more. I won't need to try very hard. She teased, stepping closer. Feeling powerful, she swung a blow at Hollykit. Claws sheathed, of course.

The white and red Windclan kit giggled as her paw gently met his cheek, no damage this was still fun. He reached out with a paw, being careful to keep his claws sheathed, around nose height.

Fallenkit winced a little as she was hit on the nose, but she kept a straight face. She lunged to bat at his ears, but forgot to keep her claws sheathed. Don't mess with the great Fallenfalls! She joked.
