He arrived shortly after the other two warriors, approaching Dusklion with a mouth full of prey. “Reporting back, ma’am,” he said, voice muffled. “All is well, apologies fer the delay.” With that he stalked off.
Okay, so, it had started to get dark, and since they had already collected what they needed, Beaverpaw got a bit skittish and started to head back.
He hoped that Snowstripe and Honeystep were still behind him, but he was a bit too nervous to look back.
He spotted Dusklion, and put his finds down. [3 COBWEBS, 2 POPPY SEEDS]
Hopefully the warriors were here too.

wormbite nodded towards both of his clanmates before turning and heading back towards camp. despite the off-script moment, the patrol had gone smoothly for the rest of the duration. they had been successful in finding a decent amount of herbs. he would have to go on a solo trip to see if he can find new, and perhaps useful herbs for berrypaw. (despite his dislike, if it could help his clan he would endure.)
wormbite limped into the entrance, nose twitching as he scented for dusklion before following her trial. he dropped the herbs at his paws, making a small throat clearing noise. "the patrol went successful. foxleap and i found ssome marigold and mosss. lionpaw was able to find quite the hefty amount of mosss, too, " he reported swiftly.

Spiraltail padded back up his bird and fish in his mouth he carefully placed them down in the prey pile keeping an eye open for Redwater. Beastflame had seemed to disappear from the party but he was sure they would pop up it would seem he would need to report the patrol so he looked around for the deputy.
Once he spots them he gives a respectful nod before speaking" Everything seems normal down at Lionsbeach I caught a bird and a few fish washed up on shore though it seems crowfood has had a surge" he then looked over to Redwater to see If she was anywhere near to back up his statement

Redwater padded silently behind Spiraltail. She couldn’t help it, she wondered where Beastflame was. They had vanished from the patrol. Can’t help wanting to be in their place now. She kept her eyes on the ground, and her fish tightly held in her teeth. She walked into the camp and set her fish down. “Um. Two…fish.” she said hoarsely, then looked away. She didn’t want to be here. She didn’t want to be anywhere. PREY DEPOSIT

Redwater hoped she didn’t look dumb just standing here. She should wait for her deputy to say something. Of course. Right. Right?
Dusklion - RiverClan Deputy
As one of the first hunting patrols reported back, the deputy felt relief fill her. The prey pile wasn't empty by any means, but Dusklion worried with it dwindling. She nodded to Spiraltail, wondering if perhaps she had been a bit too harsh in her first judgement of him. The former WindClanner seemed to be working hard. "Good haul - thanks for the report," she nodded, glancing at Beastflame as he dropped off his catch before heading off. It would always irritate her slightly that cats came to report - especially patrol leaders - and then just walked off without waiting to see if there was anything else she needed.
Pushing it to the back of her mind she glanced at Redwater, taking note of the odd appearance of the warrior, and her voice. "If you're sick, or not feelin' well, I want you goin' to see Berries," the deputy commented, not entirely sure what was going on with Redwater, but not wanting whatever it was to spiral. With that she waved her tail to dismiss both her and Spiraltail.

Floodsight had just arrived back at their camp, with prey settled in her maw. Finally done. They sure took their sweet time on this patrol. Though prey was plenty, the irregular terrain was still hard to get back into. They've only been gone for a couple of moons, but it felt like forever. At least Haven Springs still look as it used to. Not much has changed.
The silverish cream warrior padded back towards where the patrols were made, and greeted Dusklion briefly with a nod before dropping her prey gently on the ground.
"Haven Spring is back and running. Prey's been plenty, especially those mice." Floodsight reported, waiting for her patrolmates to catch up. "It seems like these critters had forgotten to be afraid."
Looking to entrance of the twoleg den, Dusklion nodded to Floodsight as the warrior returned with her prey. Her ear flicked in curiosity, not seeing Irisfrost or Oliverat with her carrying prey. Had they not caught anything? Shoving the frustration down, the deputy surveyed the catches from the warrior. "Must've gotten used to not havin' us around," she chuckled, then flicked her tail she dismissed the warrior. "Good catches. Feel free to grab somethin' for yourself if you want, I know you've been workin' hard lately." It didn't go unnoticed by the deputy, cats who were stepping up or had stepped up upon their return.

With any luck, these should be the last patrols sent out from the temporary camp. She knew their move was getting closer and frankly was worried about the hunting patrols she'd be sending out - but at least this way they could assign cats to carry the prey to their new camp and she wouldn't have to send hunting patrols out right away after the journey.
"RiverClan! At my paws for patrols." Dusklion stood one one of the odd twoleg things leftover from perhaps whoever had occupied the den long before they had found it. It was soft and springing, and quiet comfortable as her tail flicked to and fro at her side. "'N I wanna make one thing clear - cats who're markin' the borders; if I go around 'n catch a whiff of it bein' any stronger than normal markin's, I'll be draggin' you out by your ears 'n showin' you how it's done like you're a 'paw all over again." This mainly applied to Smallpines, because she had a feeling that Tree Rat Leader would take it as a sign that they wanted to rumble again - and that was the last thing RiverClan needed. "You mark the borders - you don't give the Clans a reason to think we're bein' aggressive. I've had it up to my ears with troublemakers - there'll be instant demotion for any cat doin' any of that stuff."
With that being said and out of the way, the deputy glanced around at the gathered cats, formulating patrol groups in her mind. She knew her brother still wanted Lionhearts on each border patrol and thankfully she could spot a few of them. Hunting patrols were less strict, so those should be even easier to fill.
WINDCLAN BORDER PATROL - REPORTED, REPORTED "Caveclaw, go on 'n take Splashleap 'n Rainpaw out to Sedgewater Valley. I want you keepin' a sharp eye on the 'paw, both of you, 'n only go as close as you need to to mark the border. Get in, 'n get out." Hopefully they wouldn't run into any issues.

SHADOWCLAN BORDER PATROL - REPORTED "Goldfish, you'll be bringin'... Wisteriawren 'n Honeysuckle..bloom-" ...what in the hell kind of long-as-a-tree-trunk name... "to Saltmeadow Marsh. Golds, 'm trustin' you to know if the patrol needs to leave at any point, 'cause I don't think I'll ever trust those shadow rats. So keep alert, all of you." Part of her didn't want to send her friend to that wretched border, but Golds was a good warrior and fierce fighter, and she knew if anything happened, Wists would be in good paws.

Border patrols done. Good. Turning away from those assigned, Dusklion contemplated how many she wanted to send out. Not too many, but not just one... three seemed good. Two cats each - and an apprentice for learning - should be more than enough to bring back sizable hauls.
LIONSBEACH HUNTING PATROL - REPORTED, REPORTED "Floodsight! You go with... Duskleaf 'n Cricketpaw to Lionsbeach to see what you guys can find over there." Floodsight, if she recalled, hadn't been one of the cats calling for the former head Lionheart's tongue at the recent meeting. Her eyes rested on him for a brief moment before darting away.

HAVEN SPRINGS HUNTING PATROL - REPORTED, REPORTED, REPORTED "Seabreeze, 'm givin' you another chance here - don't make me regret it. Go out 'n take Wavebreaker 'n Salamanderpaw out towards Haven Springs 'n see what's scurryin' about over there." Truthfully, she was sort of glad this would be one of the last patrols out towards Haven Springs - it would be a far trek once they settled in their new camp.

The plump molly’s large ears perked up as she heard her name unexpectedly be called out of the deputy’s maw, a quiet ‘mrrp’ escaping her lips. Honeysucklebloom’s heart nearly skipped a beat, a blend of anxiety and cautious excitement bubbling up within her as she absorbed the news that she would be part of the patrol to Saltmeadow Marsh. Her mind began to race, thoughts tumbling over each other in a whirlwind of anticipation and apprehension. She hadn’t expected to be chosen for a patrol today, let alone one heading to Saltmeadow Marsh—a place that always made her pelt prickle with unease, especially considering the looming constant threat of ShadowClan around the border. The idea of stepping onto that swampy, unpredictable terrain, where every step could be met with sinking mud or an unwelcome encounter with their shadow-dwelling neighbors, sent a shiver down her spine. But at the same time, there was a flicker of pride burning in her chest. Being selected for a patrol meant that the deputy saw her as capable—or, that she was suitable for the job—and that recognition was something she couldn’t help but feel pleased about, even if the circumstances were daunting. As she waited for Wisteriawren and Goldfish, Honeysucklebloom’s thoughts oscillated between nervous anticipation and the comfort of knowing she wouldn’t be facing the marshland alone. She didn’t know either of her patrolmates extremely well, which only added another layer of anxiety to the situation. What if they didn’t work well together? What if something happened and they were caught off guard? Yet, the thought of being useful, of contributing to the safety of her clan, helped steady her nerves, grounding her in the purpose of the task ahead. Honeysucklebloom’s gaze drifted to the entrance of the camp, her paws quietly shuffling beneath herself as she awaited for the arrival of both her patrolmates, and she tried to focus on the positives—the opportunity to prove herself, the chance to be part of something bigger than her fears. Despite the churning anxiety in her belly, Honeysucklebloom stood firm, determined to face whatever lay ahead at Saltmeadow Marsh. If they were to run into problems, she would be willing to assist however she could.
At the sound of her name, Rosehawk´s ears perked up. Hunting patrol. Sleepy Thicket. Adderstrike and Marshpaw. Got it.
The warrior pushed herself to her paws and stretched, jaws gaping in a yawn and showing a pink tongue. Blue eyes flicked over to Dusklion, and Rosehawk made her way over to the deputy, shouldering her way through the crowd of cats.
Sitting back as she waited on Adderstrike and Marshpaw, the RiverClanner washed a paw and ran it over her muzzle.
The midday sun was high in the sky when Wavebreaker heard the unmistakable drawl of his deputy Dusklion. The large tomcat raised his head in response, his blue eyes training on her form as she began to organize patrols. He had been warming his dark spotted pelt by one of the many windows that dotted all twoleg dens. He gave a stiff yawn as he carefully left his perch on the windowsill, being sure with his broad body not to knock over a plant that sat quietly next to him enjoying the same sunlight. As his dark pawpads hit the tender earth and grass mixture below, he quickly made his way over to where the action was happening. Wavebreaker blinked twice rapid fire, trying to force the sleep from his deep blue eyes which held a glaze of tiredness in them.
He had gone out before dawn with his new apprentice Fawnpaw to collect fresh moss for the elders, and was still in the process of recovering. I must be getting too old for this. The warrior stifled a laugh meant for himself, he was hardly old. He still had a few moons left until he could really consider that idea, even if the way he pushed his body made him feel less youthful. Wavebreaker allowed his mind to go dormant, focusing on what his deputy was saying. Waiting for his name to be potentially called. It wasn't until the tail end that he heard it. He was surprised he was on hunting duty, his large mass and bold colored fur wasn't really suited to stalking. Particularly in the daytime, but last he checked the prey where they were going was fat and slow.
Wavebreaker let a small sigh escape through his teeth. He wished he were hunting real prey, back in their proper RiverClan territory, the thrill just wasn't the same. Havensprings... The senior warrior had seen Floodsight and Oliverat bring pack back fat prey the last time they had gone on patrol there. They even mentioned as much. Escaping his thoughts momentarily Wavebreaker craned his neck looking for Dewpaw and Seabreeze. For the moment he saw no tell tale droopy ears or scarred eyes that would say the apprentice was close. He figured it wouldn't take long to find her though, Caveclaws protege had a very distinct look after having been involved with several scuffles even at her young age. I'll need to keep an eye on her. The clan needed all their cats to remain as healthy as possible, especially soon to be warriors for the fights that lay ahead in the future.
The toms thoughts briefly drifted to Kitepaw. I hope her training is going well. He didn't like the thought of his daughter seeing battle, but he supposed it was an invetabillity of warrior life. He stretched his limbs until his body was fully extended, anticipating a long trek. Havensprings was rather far away and if Seabreeze didn't hurry up they wouldn't get back until sundown. The young Lionheart had great hunting skills, and wasn't afraid to speak his mind. Something evidenced by his speaking up at Duskleafs trial. Even so Wavebreaker found it difficult to forgive him for missing patrols, the Clan needed to be working hard. Now more than ever. He tried to let the thoughts go waiting patiently for his patrol leader and the apprentice joining them.
