Beachpaw -

Beachpaw perked up. New apprentice den, they liked the sound of that. The current situation wasn't... ideal. And it was probably annoying the rest of the Clan more than it was Beachpaw, who was the annoyance itself.

Still, they desired their own proper space again.

Bounding to join the gathering cluster of helpers, their paws ached from the summer dryness combined with training, but it wouldn't stop them from attempting contributions. "What's first?" They were eager to get started, impatient. The amount of assistance may've been in the process of building, but they didn't want to waste time merely waiting around for lingering slowpokes.

At Wolfhive's call she poked her head out of the warrior's den, eyes widening in shock as she took in the full extent of the damage to the apprentice's den. The fur on the back of her neck prickled, a horrible feeling of inadequacy seeping through her bones. Skylark was used to physical enemies she could fight off with words or claws, not nature that had no regard for what any cat wanted. It would yield to nobody and she wished that wasn't the case.

"I can offer my services." She approached the gathering crowd, raising her tail to announce herself to the other warriors, "You just tell me what needs doin' and I'll do it."

"Do we get anything by helping?" Antpaw meows, then shakes his head, "Forget it. I'll help."

It wasn't from a wanting to work and help his clan, but Antpaw was sick of living in the elder's den. And the more cats that helped, the quicker the apprentice's den would be fixed, and then finally things would go back to normal. No more stinky, crowded, noisy nights cooped up with the apprentices and elders. Antpaw cheers up just thinking about it.
