Bluemoon gave an angry sigh, but he nodded. Why couldn't Goldenkit just follow simple directions? He padded over to the bush, staying clear of the thorns. Bluemoon grasped the small kit's tail in his jaws, trying to pull him out of the brambles. This might hurt. He mumbled through Goldenkit's tail. He bit down harder, trying to drag him out.

GoldenKit squeaked from the pain in his tail. After one last push his ear came loose from the brambles although a good chunk of fur stayed behind. He winced a scratched his ear with his paw. It stung but not as much as his tail. His eyes darted toward what was in his other paw. It was the moss ball. "I got it!" He handed it back to his father. His mouth curled into a pained smile.

Bluemoon smirked. Okay. He mewed, his tone flat. He thought about throwing the ball back into the thorns, but stopped. What should we have you work on? He asked in a misrable meow.

GoldenKit looked around nervously. Everything they had done so far was painful. “Maybe you could teach me how to swim?” That couldn’t be painful right? Bluemoon is a great warrior so he must be a great swimmer. His faith in his father was high. On the other hand his faith that be taught to swim would be less painful then everything they’ve done so far was low.
He hoped the stinging in his leg and ear wouldn’t affect his swimming capabilities. His want to be able to swim somehow outweighed the chance that Bluemoon would think swimming was riverclan behavior and get angry with him. He was a brave and sometimes not very smart kit.
[ Hornets have HR permission to intercept private threads if the ongoing roleplay portrays or includes a threat to the Clan or its members. As Bluemoon is in the clearing abusing a kitten, this wouldn't go unnoticed and Wolfhive is exiling Bluemoon. If he doesn't leave in your next post Wolfhive is going to execute him w/ high rank permission. ]
"Goldenkit don't -- stay out of the bush!"
Wolfhive had just emerged from Bumba's den when he glimpsed some of Bluemoon's actions. Notably, how he deliberately chucked a mossball into thorns and told his kid to get it. Unfortunately, he was too far away to stop Goldenkit from entering the thorns - it didn't stop him from booking it anyway.
Bluemoon roughly pulled the kiddo free, but the damage was done - an injured ear, a patch of loose fur in the brambles. And Wolfhive didn't miss the clawmarks on Goldenkit's leg, where blood had only just started to dry.
"What in the HELL do you think you're doing?"
Wolfhive's voice was a snarl, each word dripping with venom and rage as he whirled on Bluemoon. It was taking every fragment of his willpower to not tear this monster apart. He positioned himself over Goldenkit protectively, so that Bluemoon had to go through Wolfhive in order to go after the kit. "Get out of my territory now before I send you out in pieces."
Bluemoon gave a startled mew and he stared at Wolfhive in shock. We were just training for him to be an apprentice! He growled, giving a look of disgust. Don't you want him to be ready? Bluemoon turned to Goldenkit. I love you. He choked out, getting ready to leave. Don't do anything they tell you to. His breathing got heavier, and he felt like he was about to collapse. And listen to your mother! He gave one last glare at Wolfhive. I'm leaving. Bluemoon snarled. So don't you dare ever. Give my son an order. His eyes gleamed with hatred as he turned to exit the camp. Don't think I won't be back! Bluemoon yowled, his mew hoarse. Then, he turned and fled, towards the WindClan border, off of ThunderClan land.

GoldenKit glanced between the two confused. His heart pounded. My father isn’t really leaving right? His paws went numb when Bluemoon stepped away. What am I supposed to do? His tongue felt like lead. Why? He turned back to Wolfhive. Questions bubbling up into his brain. The words to express his confusion weren’t coming to mind. He didn’t… no he couldn’t figure out how to make his dad stayed. Why his he leaving? Just like mother.“Don’t go, please.” the words barely came out. Is this my fault?
"Cut the dung, you're harming him just to harm him. If you actually cared you wouldn't be having him climb into thorn bushes." Wolfhive's claws were unsheathed, ready to go if Bluemoon tried anything. "Come back, please. I'll be happy to give you a taste of your own medicine."
Then, after Bluemoon was gone Wolfhive redirected his attention to the kitten. He checked him over gently, and moved to very lightly rasp his tongue over his head - a gesture made with the intent of comfort. "You alright? Are you hurt anywhere else than your side?"

Goldenkit was still shocked. How could his father someone he thought so high of be kicked of the clan? It was difficult to wrap his mind around. He knew there was something missing but he was too naive to realize. To naive to understand. It was scary being in the dark. It was so obvious. To obvious.
Wolfhive’s question was lost in his muddled thoughts. Subconsciously he twitched his ear it still sting. Although right now all he felt was numbness and confusion. Sat and tried to get a hold of his thoughts.
