Hello! My name is Ollie/Oliver. I am a 15 yr freshman in high-school, but I'm homeschooled and I take flex online classes and I use textbooks for my education, so I have plenty of time for wco. I am online for around 3-4 hours daily, maybe more. I am hoping to improve several things with the role of med cat. Some personal, some for the clan. I am looking to improve my personal roleplay skills, organization, and characters in general. As for the clan, I'm hoping to improve the ic and ooc respect for the Riverclan high ranks, and the overall wellbeing of the clan. I do not have discord, but I can communicate through Google chat or Pms. This was honestly an impulsive thing, but now this is something I genuinely want. Leopardpurr is technically a new character, but he has been existent since 2023. He doesn't have many posts, and I hope that's alright. I can be a mature person, if I need or wanted too. Leopard is in no way perfect, and neither am I. Hrs are busy, and I'm prepared to juggle it with my life. I struggle with mental health occasionally, which might cut down my motivation and activity at some points. I promise to keep Leopardpurr active. I have his entire character plotted out, it's just needing to be roleplayed out. I hope Leopardpurr can be a good medicine cat for riverclan if he's chosen.
Leopardpurr is My 35 Moons Old Riverclan warrior. He has been with the clan through the clans struggles and his own. They have faced the challenges with a postive attitude and resilience. He enjoys being a warrior, and he takes his job seriously. He has a good, postive view on his clan and their high ranks and Lionhearts. They are extremely loyal, and he would give his life for his clan. He is very cheerful. He's an understanding, gentle cat, but won't hesitate to tell a cat that what they did was stupid. They joke a lot, but that doesn't mean he can't be mature or professional. He's sarcastic, but in a loveable way. He doesn't have any blood kin in the clan that's alive, but that pushes him more to protect and love his clan. He's stubborn, impatient, and snappy, but he's also cunning, coordinated , calm, and determined. He's not afraid of death, but he's afraid of cats dying. He'll do anything he can to help cats. He enjoys helping cats.
It's something that makes him feel like a good. He loves his clan deeply, and will do anything that he can if it benefits Riverclan.
Gray and cream paws pulled themselves out of a nest. Leopardpurr's warm amber eyes scanned the Twoleg Den, searching for something to do. Maybe he could do a solo hunting trip. Yeah, that seemed alright. Maybe he could find some herbs too! Perfect. They trotted out of the den, and began trying to track prey. Wait, what was he doing? Riverclan ate fish. Well they ate landprey too, but it wasn't preferred. He bounded away to the river, and he sat over the water, careful to keep his shadow away from the water. He patiently waited for a fish to swim up. Their mind wandered as he waited. He didn’t know what he thinking about. Their clan was awfully chaotic right now, with Mistyshard resigning and them trying to figure out a new camp, and a new medicine cat..New medicine cat. Hm. Wouldn't that be something, being a medicine cat? He jerked himself out of his thoughts when he a saw a fish start to swim by. He lashed out with his claws quickly, hooking them into the fish. He pulled the fish out, which now seemed to be a salmon, and killed it with a swift bite. He set it down next to him and continued to watch the water. The river was calm, and he halfwatched it flow. If he wasn't hunting and if it wasn't a bit more chilly, he would consider taking a swim. Leopardpurr was excited for leaf-fall. It was one of his favorite seasons. It was cooler, but they prey was still plenty. And it was oh so gorgeous.
The sun was shining down gently as it began the process of setting. He still had a good while of daylight left. And he was bored. So you know what that means? Teaching himself a new skill. And Leopardpurr was going to try out climbing. It shouldn't be too hard, right? The tom bounded out of the twoleg den out onto the territory. He found the perfect tree for his.. experiment. Not too tall, but sturdy. The wood was soft. Leopardpurr unsheathed his claws and dug his claws into the tree. He pulled himself up, yelping when he couldn't find a good clawhold and he fell back down to the ground. Exactly why the tree he chose wasn't that tall. He tried a different approach, instead backing up a bit and getting a running start to hop up. He jumped and dug his claws in again. Oh yeah, this felt far more sturdy. He pulled one paw up, and the other. This was easy..ish. They transitioned his weight to a thick, sturdy branch. He sat, his claws still digging into the soft wood. He actually quite liked this. He smiled. Now. His smile dropped. What about getting down... That was sure to be far more difficult. Should he just..jump? His flicked his ear and narrowed his eyes. He got into a "playful" stance and leapt down. He winced as he barely missed a rock. Okay. This would definitely need some work. He shook out his pelt, and walked back as the sky got darker.
The tom glanced around his clan. He was awfully bored, and he wanted to hunt. But he also didn't. He looked around again, and decided he would just go on a walk. They slid out of the twoleg den, and began his stroll. The air was chilly, but it felt nice. He saw a mouse scurry by, and he fought the urge to go and hunt it. He saw a nice tree hanging over the river, and he decided to go sit underneath it. He streched, and sat down. They watched the river flow peacefully, tail flicking. A fish swam by, and Leopardpurr watched with slight interest. He had been awfully tense recently, and this was relaxing. Leopardpurr let out a deep sigh, the tension melting away from his shoulders. He flicked a bee away from his ear, mildly annoyed. He let out a puff of air, and closed his eyes, letting the cool breeze brush through his fur. He truly needed this, time to himself. He had been awfully overwhelmed, and he needed into clear his head and just...sit. Leopardpurr laid down, and rested his head on his paws. They whisked their tail, stirring up the leaves behind them. He looked up to the orange pink sky, and he let a purr rumble in his throat. He was awfully content at the moment, just relaxing. It was nice to be away from the bustling camp. He would have to get home before dark, but for now he could stay at this gorgeous spot. The setting sun illuminated his amber eyes and cast a warm glow upon his dark pelt.
Well, Leopardpurr and I both want the role. Of course, I can’t just leave it at that! Herbal knowledge for Leopardpurr is very limited. As for me, it’s less limited. I have several herbal books, I’ve studied lots of guides to medicine for warrior cats, and it’s something that genuinely interests me! Leopardpurr is a fast learner, and he wants to help his clan and clanmates as much as he possibly can. He is responsible, gentle, caring, and attentive. I hope to work well with Berrypaw (more so @/squidz), and maybe I can teach myself something new! Leopardpurr is calm and reasonable, but if he disagrees with something, he’ll say it. He wouldn’t let himself or any of the other HRs (not that they need protection, I adore all of them) be pushed around or disrespected. I adore RC, even if I only have two characters in it. Leopardpurr cares deeply for the physical and mental health of the whole clan. He’s always ready to listen, offer support, and heal, as am I. With my personal enthusiasm for the role, and his loyalty, determination, and calm nature, I think we’d both be wonderful for the role.

-Leopardpurr hopes to help as many cats as he can. They enjoy helping cats and try to do so as much as he can as a warrior.
-Raise respect for the Riverclan HRs and Riverclan in general to other clans. Leopardpurr will refuse to take any disrespect to him, the other High Ranks, and Riverclan in general. He is aware that Riverclan HRs are usually disrespected by the members and he hopes to change that.
-Build a better connection with the cats in his clan. Leopardpurr struggles with socializing and being able to help the cats in a "formal" setting would likely help him build better bond to the cats within the Clan
OOC
-Build my organization skills. I love organizing things, but I have a difficult time with it sometimes. I hope to use spreadsheets, google docs, etc to improve the skills and keep count of the herbs.
-Improve my RP abilities! I am an alright writer, and it's something I enjoy, but I'd like to write longer posts and include more emotions and actions, and being in a setting where posts like that are more "expected", I think it's the perfect opportunity!
-Know more about RC. I don't roleplay in Riverclan nearly enough, and I only know the big, current things. I'd want to learn about the past HRs and the territory!
-Improve time management. I'm a messy person when it comes to this, and being an HR is quite busy I've heard, and I like my other clan characters, so manging being an HR and the other clans would be a great way to improve it.
Leopardpurr jumped as a cat raced in and yowled something about his mate and kits, and that was enough for Leopardpurr. He reached into his herb store and grabbed the needed herbs Raspberry Leaves, Borage..Right! Chervil. He had a feeling the mate would just be anxious and in the way, so he already had tasks for him. He wrapped the herbs in an oak leaf and darted to the nursery. He set down the herbs and turned to the mate, who was just anxiously pacing. "Go get a strong, sturdy stick. One that won't splinter."He ordered, and the tom ran out to find a stick. He turned back to the queen and attempted to sooth her. "You're doing wonderful, love. Just keep breathing. When the kits start coming, I'll give you some herbs."He purred, brushing his tail along her back. She nodded, and clearly started focusing on her breathing. Other kits in the nursery we're peeking around their mothers, and asking questions. They were all quickly shushed. The queen whimpered with pain as a contraction hit. The tom raced back in with a stick. Just in time too, the kits had just started coming. This clearly wasn't her first rodeo with this, which Leopardpurr was incredibly grateful for, because he hadn't been a medicine cat for long, and his herbal knowledge was limited. He gave the queen the leaves to eat, and gave her the stick. She looked at him gratefully and bit down hard on the stick. The first kit came out, and he slid his paw along the queens belly. " A beautiful little tom. Two more, darl. You're doing wonderful." He assured, turning to the father. "Lick that kits fur the wrong way. He needs to be warmed up and stimulated." Leopardpurr ordered, turning back to the queen. He looked gratefully at the queen who abandoned her sleeping kits to come and help. The other kits were born, 2 she-cats, and he couldn't be more relieved. The queen looked lovingly down at her kits, and they started feeding. He nodded to the queen, and told the father to get her some wet moss. Which he happily obliged. Leopardpurr ducked out of the den and to go wash his paws.
A dark grey pelt rose and fell as the tom napped. A paw prodded Leopardpurr and he lifted his head. A warrior was in their den with a sickly looking apprentice. The tom stood and looked at the warrior. "What happened?" He asked, studying the apprentice. He turned back to the warrior as they explained that the apprentice had eaten some crowfood by accident. And now they were facing the consequences. He nodded, sighed, and turned to the herb store to search for yarrow. Why did younger cats seem to be so mousebrained when it came to their health? He saw the yarrow leaves he had and grabbed them. Gosh, he really needed fresh herbs. He turned to the apprentice and held out his paw for them to eat the leaves. "Eat these. They'll make you vomit and it will clear out the poison. And pay more attention to what you eat next time, Kid. " He directed. He nudged the apprentice outside his den to a bush in camp after they ate them so they didn't vomit all over camp or in his den. The apprentice coughed afterwards, and staggered back in. "Wonderful. If you have any side symptoms, like a bellyache, come see me, and I'll give you herbs. Go and rest. Leopardpurr said, flicking his tail as the two left and going to return to his nap
Leopardpurr huffed. He had 3 sick cats in his den, 2 with greencough, one with whitechough quickly escalating to greencough. He had to send out warriors to get him more Catmint, Feverfew, And Tansy. And on top of that, He and Berrypaw had to avoid getting sick. The tom padded back into the den with three 3 moss ball in his jaws. He dropped one in front of each cat, and grabbed catmint out of their store and gave some to the cats. Other than catmint and rest, there wasn't much he could do to help them get better faster. He nodded to the cat who thanked him, and then stepped out. He took a breath of fresh, non stuffy air. The cats were getting better, and then worse. Hopefully it would be over soon. He shook his pelt and stepped back in. The youngest of the 3 announced he was feeling just fine, and Leopardpurr narrowed their eyes. Okay, then. The tom walked closer and pressed his paw to the cats forehead. They were still slightly warm, and their nose was runny and their voice was raspy from the coughs that had been wracking them for the last few days. But other than the after symptoms they seemed okay. "Very well. You're staying on the medicine den, though. Move your nest further away from the other two." He sighed, flicking his tail. Leopardpurr eyed the other two, looking for symptoms of it getting worse. There wasn't any, the two were just chatting away. He turned, and breathed a sigh of relief. This wasn't going to last much longer, thank the stars. Maybe he should to that more often. He was the medicine cat after all.
The tom jerked his head around at the warrior that had limped into his den. The sharp tang of blood hit his nose, and he frowned. The cat explained that they had run into an aggressive rouge, and Leopardpurr walked over to insepct the wound. It looked deep, but not too deep to be fatal or cause too much concern. and bleeding heavily. "Go sit or lay down. Lick the wound best you can, alright?" He instructed, turning to his herb store to grab Cobwebs, Marigold, Thyme, and Golfenrod. Thankfully wound treatment was something he had learned from his mother when he was younger. [NPC NAME] Said they had finished cleaning the wound. Leopardpurr set down the leaves and began to chew the marigold, goldenrod, and thyme into a poultice. As he chewed the herbs he applied the cobwebs in an attempt to stop the bleeding. He spat the poultice onto his paw. They waited a moment before applying the herbs onto the wound. The cat winced, but said nothing. Leopardpurr put more cobwebs ontop of the poultice to hold it in place. It was a deep wound, and he wanted to watch out for infection. "I'm going to keep you in here with me and Berrypaw to keep an eye on that. No patrols or hunting trips until it's fully healed. You dont want to reopen it." He explained, flicking his tail. The warrior nodded, and sat awkwardly before curling into the nest.
The tom swished his tail as he dried wet herbs and soaking ones that were almost dried out, but still usable. A warrior limped in, looking like they were in pain. "Are you alright, [NPC NAME]? They asked, head tilted with concern. The warrior shook their head and explained the pain in their front paw. Leopardpurr frowned, and took their paw, examining it. It was swollen, and the warrior whimpered when he took it. "Your paw is sprained." They stated, gently dropping it and turning to his herb store. Poppy and bark, for a brace, cobwebs. The tom turned around with the needed supplies. "Here, eat these. They're poppy seeds, they'll ease the pain, but they might make you a bit sleepy." He explained, pushing a leaf with the seeds on it over. He took the bark and pressed it against the paw, and wrapped it with cobwebs. The cat yelped, and their tail flicked back and forth. "There. If it hurts more, come to me and I'll give you some poppy seeds." He said, nudging the cat up. He might have them stay in the medicine den if they tried to much on their paw. "No patrols till it's healed. Try to keep off it as much as possible. If you don't cooperate, you'll make it worse and I'll need to keep ya in here."He ordered. He watched the cat nod and limp out, hopefully going to rest. Leopardpurr sighed, and stalked back to his herbs
Leopardpurr was sorting through the herbs, noting which ones were running out and which one's were dry. Feverfew, Catmint, Comfery, Alder... He muttering, putting them aside to try and save. He turned when a cat walked, well..limped in. What now? "Hello, [NPC NAME]. How can I help ya?" He asked, nodding as his clanmate explained. Scraped pads, that was easy..right? Alright, sit down." He ordered, going back to his herb store. Dock..where was the dock? Ah, there it was. Leopardpurr grabbed the dock and walked back over to the warrior. "Right. I'm assuming you tried putting your paws in water? I hope you did. It's basic knowledge, plus it would've lessened the pain before you thought to come to me." He said, sliding the dock over the to cat. "Here. This is dock. Rub this on your paws, and try to take it easier for a day or two. We don't want them worsening because you walk too much." He instructed, a hint of amusement in his voice. [NPC NAME] nodded, thanked him and walked out. Leopardpurr sighed, and turned around to his herb store again, continuing to sort through them.

Hazelstripe is a brown-striped tom with yellow
eyes. He is 49 months old. Born in Riverclan, he has great respect for the high ranks and the warrior code.
Hazelstripe is quite serious but is kind and sometimes quite joking. He is a bit of a perfectionist and quite meticulous. Hazelstripe strictly adheres to the warrior code and can become enraged if it is violated.
Hazelstripe always wants to do what is best for the clan. He himself thinks that he is not very good at hunting or fighting and is fascinated by Mistyshard's knowledge. He also thinks he would be better as a medicine cat. Hazelstripe has a pretty good memory and good sense of smell.
“Wow Mistyshard, how did you do that?” Hazelstripe was always fascinated by Mistyshard's knowledge. Already as a kit, he dreamed of becoming a medicine cat. Or, he dreamed of helping the clan. He himself never thought he was fit as a warrior, even though he was capable of some. He has always followed the warrior code and is fiercely loyal to Fadingstar. "What, isn't Mistyshard medicine cat anymore?!" When Riverclan searched for a medicine cat, Hazelstripe saw his chance. It was like it didn't enter his head. “…Wait a moment…no medicine cat…help the clan…*pling*! I'm will be the new medicine cat!”
1. Learn about herbs. Hazelstripe wants to learn all about different herbs and how to use them to help the clan.
2. Learn about medicine cat life. Hazelstripe will learn about what it's like to be a medicine cat and what it means.
3. Get to know Berrypaw. Hazelstripe will get to know his apprentice as best he can, and he will teach her what he can.
4. Learn about Starclan. Hazelstripe will learn about his ancestors and how he interacts with them.
I don't have discord, but am open to VMs or PMs. I have read the conditions for high ranks. I will be online as often as I can. I'm going to roleplay Hazelstripe as often as I can.

What there is to know about them (i.e. appearance, personality):
They are about 12" (30cm) tall and have a body length of 14" (35cm). Nothing out of the ordinary for an oriental cat like them. Their fur is dark grey with tabby markings, and a minor amount of vitiligo, and is heavily scarred. They are deaf in one ear, this may be a learning curve for Berrypaw (if Ghostflicker gets the position).
Normally, they don't care much about the wellbeing of others, as they usually have no inclination to. But if they get this position, they likely would at least feign concern. Because that would be expected of them. The blessing of indifference is not, however, without its curse- being observant of those around themself. And they care enough to not want to live atop a slowly melting glacier, so if Ghostflicker gets the job, they'll contribute enough to keep the clan stable, and might put in a bit more effort.
Life experience. They're about 32 moons, plenty of experience. In terms of healing experience.... not so much. But they are (begrudgingly) willing to give it a shot, if not out of curiosity, and an experience interesting enough for them to give a damn.
What there is to know about me:
I have about 5 hours of WCO time (on weekdays), and on weekends, i'm available all day. I've never had HR experience before, but I'd love to try it. I've also been on the site since 2022. I only recently returned after an 8-month hiatus, but I promise to stay with this lovable community for longer if required.
