Hornetkit gasped - "YES!" beginning to bounce around "ThunderClan better be ready for us!" her tail waved in excitement. "You'll be like - errrr...." She paused, trying to think of the coolest suffix she could - "like, Branchstrike or something, one of the real cool names I bet!" She sat proudly, acting as though she'd come up with the coolest warrior name ever. It was strange - sure she got on with her siblings, but she was seemed to be at odds with them, even her wasp. But Branchkit seemed... Genuinely quite sweet!

Brightkit

After a few very noisy rustles coming from the nursery entrance, Brightkit would bound in with a loud, content purr, a small feild mouse in his maw. Happily, he'd rush to his mossy nest and rip out a small ball of moss to play with, sitting down the mouse prior to this.

Excitedly, he'd place the moss down infront of him and try to put it in the perfect spot for play, getting agitated everytime it would roll even slightly out of place. But, with enough patience, he manages to get it in an okay position and finally...

"Waa!! Brightstar, please don't eat me!! AHH!!" He'd pretend to voice the moss, playing like he was a valiant leader, before pouncing on it, shredding the greenery to bits. "Too bad."

"EUGH! PPEGH! PLEGH! EW!" Brightkit would hiss loudly, trying to spit the moss out of his mouth, since he'd made such a big mess while playing, the moss ball's remains had gotten into his maw! Silly Brightkit.

Cherrykit

Eveningkit was a strange cat, Cherrykit decided after their encounter, but he was a cat that was... not bad. JUst strange. That could not be said about the others in this nest. Or perhaps, Cherrykit is simply biased because Eveningkit was the first to approach Rot- Cherrykit. The first to approach Cherrykit. She flicked an ear, her blue eyed gaze crossing through the place of kits and mothers. Strange how this group separated their cats, but what did Cherrykit know about how big groups operated. The most cats that she had seen in any one space before this was roughly four. That's when louder noises, closer to Cherrkit, caught her attention.

The former outsider whipped their head around to gaze at the offender. A kitten seemed to be eating moss rather than actual prey. Does this one have pebbles for brains? Was this some strange thing that kits in this group did? If so perhaps Cherrykit should find someplace else to reside. Maybe return to the upwalkers place, despite how it had burned down everything she had ever known. The kit narrowed her eyes. Brightstar? That was similar to the name of the leader, Bumblestar. Shouldn't this one be Brightkit? Why is it that this place seems to never make sense no matter how long Cherrykit watches and feels like she's learning. Well, she was annoyed now, by her lack of knowledge.

Cherrykit stood up and approached the kit, keeping a respectful distance. Her pupils were slits, and her claws were unsheathed as they always were around strangers. A silent threat of getting too close to the sun and you'll be burned. "Why is it that you're eating moss?" It was likely a mistake, but perhaps getting the kit embarrassed would lead to getting other information out easier. Defending themselves and revealing things without even thinking about it in response to trying to prove that they were not an idiot. Though Cherrykit didn't know if this one thinks and behaves like that, so she'll have to see and adapt as this encounter continues.

"Ooh, Branchstrike is a really cool name!" Branchkit mewed with utmost confidence. "And yours could be something like... Hornetclaw! Or Hornetpounce for your magnificent pounce in the future!" She giggled and leapt onto Hornetkit's back; pinning her down, with the intention to play-fight.

Brightkit

Brightkit would immediately shoot up, his ears drooping in embarrassment. Awh, come ON! SERIOUSLY BRIGHTKIT?? YOURE SUCH A MOUSEBRAIN!! he'd think to himself, before scrambling to come up with a response, his tail flicking in thought.

"Erhh, it's uhm," He'd pause, sitting up and licking his paw, trying to act nonchalant. "It's like, what all the cool kits do or whatever, I'm sure you would know though, I mean, you seem .. okayishly awesome!" He'd puff out his chest, trying to compliment the other kit so they wouldn't think of him in an even dimmer light than they already did.

"By the way," Brightkit would take this opportunity to try and strike up a conversation, perhaps that could dig him out of the social grave he'd just dug for himself. "I'm Brightkit! What's your name?" He'd ask, occasionally glancing over at the mouse he'd laid on his nest to check if somecat had stolen it — not that any other kit would even want such a puny mouse, but he didn't know that.
