Hey everyone. I'm really hoping to find a RiverClan tom who is willing to meet my loner named Petal at the RiverClan border and eventually become mates, leading to her joining RiverClan. She is a slightly taller than average ginger tortoiseshell she-cat of 35 moons. She has deep blue eyes set softly on her face which rests on her broad powerful body which slims until you reach her paws which are small dainty and pink. She is enamored with clan life due to her father (Silver's) many stories of Wildcats in the forest.
Petal constantly seeks to learn about new people and places, but can be a bit headstrong and carefree when making decisions, as she is a bit overconfident in her ability to talk her way out of any situation. As a heads up she does have intimacy issues, due to her last crush almost killing her. Even though she is very open she might get scared once things start getting too real. She speaks her mind plainly and boldly, so make sure your cat is not going to get their fur ruffled to easily.
She also does have a brother named Minnow who may check on her from time to time, but he won't be joining the Clan. Far more details below if your curious. Their is a post history as I am a returning member, so if you want to see examples of her personality in action here is a good thread.
I don't expect all this to be read, just resources if people need them.

Personality
Overview: Petal is a guarded but secure self confident cat who brims with curiosity about the wider world around her. She seeks to understand other cats' ways of life, and will unabashedly ask questions on sensitive topics most cats wouldn’t tread. In this very direct way she is able to break the ice with new cats, though it has been known to get her and her brother into trouble on more than one occasion. Her confident investigative nature stems both from her larger frame and the manner in which the pair grew up. Both her adoptive father Barney, and her actual father Silver would often tell stories of cats squabbling over control of great patches of land. Rivers, forests, plains; which differed from the cold hard streets of the twolegplace and its gruff inhabitants sounded like magic to the she-cat. Her father even mentioned that the whole family had been kittypets at one point. After their mother died giving birth Silver was afraid their twoleggs would take the kits away. That is how they came to live on the streets.
Both Barney and her father only spoke of these places with tones of fear and paranoia. Particularly her father Silver spoke of them with disdain, even claiming his gimpy leg had been given to him as a warning from one of these wildcats. She paid the negative tone from the elders no mind. Even when they claimed life in the twolegplace was harder because these wildcats took all the good prey, and wouldn’t make room for others in the forest it only served to excite her.
Petal is a very good judge of character due to the hardships of her life as a loner. She always sensed some of her fathers anxious behavior was unwarranted towards the wildcats. She prefers to believe her good sense is a trait from her mother. Sunny had been the glue of the family. She carries on in what she hopes is her mothers image. Petal is always willing to be optimistic, because she grew up having none of it. From her fathers stories she could tell her mother was the light in his life, Petal always felt she needed to carry on that light because no other cat in her circle would.
As a result she will pick you up when you fall, and never ask for thanks. For all her positive charm and care she does possess a fear of real intimacy with other cats. Once she breaks through a surface level understanding, or another cat tries to become close with her she adapts the fear and paranoia of her father. This is because her first crush tried to lead her into a trap where she was almost shredded by dogs. He had only taken advantage of her in order to try and displace her and her brother from their hunting grounds in an old twolegg factory. In a cruel twist of fate, her attacker Tommy was the one killed by the dogs, while Petal had managed to escape with a crooked scared tail.
This event made her and her brother nearly inseparable. She dotes on him like an affectionate mother. The other main negative trait she possesses as a result of this experience is her jealous nature. Whenever she sees cats with a close bond of love she is resentful, as she herself finds it difficult to feel as secure in relationships.
Traits: Adventurous, Direct, Curious, Energetic, Daydreamer, Resolute, Stubborn, Jealous,
Phobias: Dogs/Tight Spaces
Sociability: 10/10 Petal will talk to any feline, any moon, anywhere, anytime. Though she has a bad habit of being too direct. Thus making her capable of hurting others feelings, or causing awkward conversations. Nothing is sacred. Her excited and gregarious nature often gets her through these moments. If that doesn’t work her sharp tongue and humiliation tactics will make an angry arguer melt in embarrassment.
Outlook: Unflappably positive. Every cat simply must be given a chance to tell their story, for a story’s ending is where friendship begins.
Responsibility: 5/10 Not as responsible as one might think. Her responsibility extends to those in immediate need, or those showing negative attitudes. She simply cannot allow negative thoughts to be unchallenged in her presence. She wants to uplift others at every possible chance. Her we can do it attitude often causes her to overlook the negative in a situation. (The fresh elders' bedding we grabbed for them is not the usual moss? I can’t wait to see if they like it!) She will get so excited by the prospect of something new she will forget to appraise if the new moss would even work for bedding, or if the elders would like it.
Cleanliness: 9/10 Petal likes to be an outward example of her inner self. Confident, Together, Trustworthy. She simply cannot be all these things while also having bad fur, for shame! Although she can never reach the fur that mushrooms away from her body at the back and is always asking her brother to take care of it.
Generosity: 9/10 Petal would almost give the fur off her back if it meant she could make new friends, or brighten someone's day. She might however get jealous of two close mates, occasionally becoming petty in the process.
Manners: 5/10 Petal is much too excitable to be concerned with something as forgettable as manners. She craves to know more about others and will break almost any social boundary in that pursuit.
Bravery: 7/10 Foolish or Brave some would ask in reference to Petal. Her curiosity will drive her to commit acts some think brave, some foolish as she is easily whisked away by her social pursuits. She is not immune to fear however, just confident she can talk herself out of almost any situation. The moment her words become incapable of soothing a situation is when she feels real fear. Fear of loss, Fear of exploitation, Fear of failure to make it out of that situation unharmed.
