Alderblossom was an absent mentor. So I can’t say that she was bad at training or anything but she wasn’t the greatest mentor and she certainly wasn’t the kind of mentor that I want. I want to excel and she was starting to hold me back. Hopefully Stormtail is better.”
Alderblossom was Turtlepaw’s first mentor in Shadowclan after joining the clan and while they were neutral towards each other at first, Turtlepaw started to take a disliking to Alderblossom after the other become repeatedly late to training Turtlepaw and the apprentice started to fall behind. Alderblossom has since disappeared but Turtlepaw doesn’t feel too torn up by it and now has Stormtail as a mentor.

The encounter that Turtlepaw had with Meadowwhisper was very brief and was only for a training lesson which while Turtlepaw appreciates she couldn't fully shake off the comments that the older said to Turtlepaw and then decided they were allowed to be rude because they were a senior warrior? Just because your old doesn't make you better.

Like most cats in the forest at this point, Turtlepaw doesn't really favor any of the clans and only really likes Shadowclan! Shadowclan is the best clan and there isn't anything that can shake this apprentice's thoughts on that. On the flip side though, Riverclan is probably one of the clans she ranks the lowest. Mostly because of the weakness and vulnerability and generally the behaviors the fish have shown lately. Though maybe its because she's disappointed that she couldn't attend the raid to drive them from their territory with her clan.
