A bit of an embarrassing request
Hii, so, I **SHOULD** have been able to find this, but my finding skills aren't too good and I was wondering if someone could help me? You see, uhh, apparently I'm one of the three blind mice and cannot find the "Group Memberships" button!! So I came here to ask where I can find it?

Hiii!!! Not an embarrassing request at all, heh, I struggled quite a bit when I first joined too. 
Anyway, if you look at your toolbar at the top of your page, click Account -> Edit Profile -> Group Memberships

It's actually not your fault at all because I don't think it's even visible to you yet  Since you're a new member, you're currently in something called moderation, meaning your posts have to be approved by a staff member and some features of the site are currently off-limits to ya. After you have 5 approved posts these restrictions go away and you'll be free to join groups! ^^
