hey y'all! my lovely thunderclan girl violetfreckle has been stagnating a bit as of late, and i'm beginning to lose interest in her. i absolutely do not want that, and while pondering how to get some motivation up, i remembered an old idea bear proposed to me. what if, vi had a sibling who stayed in riverclan after she left?
and so, that's what i'm looking for!
introducing, violetfreckle's sibling! they can be any gender, sexuality, etc. there are a few things you need to know about them:
like violetfreckle, they are currently 44 moons old and age up one moon on approximately the first of every month.
they currently reside in riverclan.
growing up, they and violetfreckle weren't particularly close, but still loved each other. they would lean on each other through tough times.
approximately two years ago, they had a falling out and have not spoken to or acknowledged the other since.
because of recent events, the final one being riverclan's forced isolation, this sibling has decided to try to reconcile once they get back to the main territories.
now, this is where you come in! i need someone to roleplay this sibling. you must remain somewhat active, be willing to roll with my plots and schemes, and throw some of your own at me!
to apply, you need to flesh out this character and really make it your own! name them, give them a personality, and most importantly, you decide what their falling out was about! think about how they would potentially clash with violetfreckle's somewhat spiky, very dramatic personality. i'm looking for creativity, though i've created an optional form to use if you need a place to start!

Moonlily is bold and stubborn. They will stick by what they believe in and never let that go. It is very impulsive but sensitive. She has a hard time apologizing even if she feels extremely guilty but she also has a tendency to victimize herself.

So I believe their falling out could have potentially been about Violet leaving riverclan. Moon has always been extremely loyal to riverclan and had never thought about leaving riverclan. Potentially Violet could’ve mentioned this to them and they might’ve lost it on Violet, making Moon a sort of victim in this scenario. It believed that Violet may have wanted to leave Moon as it has a tendency to take stuff very personally. Of course I am open to your ideas and takes as to how it goes down.

As mentioned earlier Moonlily has a tendency to not want to apologize which could make it seem as if she doesn’t feel bad about some words that were said. Moonlily would likely be stubborn and extremely rude to Violet even if they don't want to be.
name: beastflame gender: male (he/him) personality: beastflame is a brute of a cat, with a short temper and sharp tongue. he is bold and aggressive in his actions, but limits his interactions with other cats to a minimum. he comes across as cold and intimidating, like a cat made of stone. he is stubborn and intensely loyal, but not always to the typical values and leaders. he is ambitious but not necessarily an instigator, preferring to follow those with shared idealisms. this does not, however, make him a pushover. he defends his honor with a fiery spirit and isn’t afraid to back up his words with force. he won’t stand for disrespect to those he holds close. what was the falling out?: 2 years ago they would've been 20 moons old, young warriors, and both still in Riverclan (if I did my stalking correctly mwahaha). I didn't create beastflame until a couple months after that, so his backstory is very flexible. pretty much all I have is that he had a younger sister named frozensky (@/furrensic) who went missing recently, and a very harsh mentor who sort of shaped his personality, named bittersneeze (played by @/wren, not sure if they've changed their tag but bitter is also missing now). so I don't have any specific plot points here to go on, but 24 moons ago was when Pikestar became the clan leader. beastflame would go on to become pike's mate before pike abandoned the clan, so perhaps vi and beast had differing views on riverclan's leadership? not sure if you have an opinion on pike in vi's canon but if it's very negative then that could work. or, we could go an entirely different route and maybe create some parent NPCs or adoptables. that way we could have some family drama! I've toyed with the idea of saying beastflame actually killed one of his parents, so we could explore that route too. any plot plans for how reconciling will go?: SO I have two ideas. 1) beastflame is fathering mistyshard's kits, and extremely stressed about this. the two are friends, but not explicitly emotionally romantic. so he's worried what this means, he's worried about being a father, and he's scared that the mistyshard will regret having children related to him due to his flaws. I'm not sure if violetfreckle has children, but if she does beastflame might seek her out to ask for advice OR if she doesn't then they just happen to run into each other at the next gathering and as they're talking he begins to open up about it. 2) frozensky's disappearance! she's from a younger litter, but violetfreckle would've still been in the clan for a while after she was born. we might have to coordinate with furrensic on this one to see if we can get permission for vi and beast to try to track her down. other: both long-haired tabbies on the grey-ish scale, should make sense genetically. and frozensky is also a dark grey kitty with long hair. and they're all a little spicy, hot-headed, moody!

Kind, and more soft-spoken than her sister. Lavender is also very family oriented. She is also very patient and empathetic. You could also describe her as having a demure personality. Lavender is very loyal to her family and clan, hence why she feels betrayed that Violet left. She often finds that there is no room for dramatic acts, and so she falls to more practical solutions when it comes to fall outs. She tries to look at things more logically than emotionally, even though she is very in tune with her emotions and controls herself very well normally. She won't avoid confrontation when it comes to it, and she has very strong beliefs.

The falling out was due to Violetfreckle leaving Riverclan. As stated in her personality, she's very family oriented and she felt frustrated and betrayed that her sister was leaving. In addition to this, Violetfreckle's dramatic personality would cause some tension as she doesn't like drama and Lavender mainly relies on logistics to figure things out rather than emotions.

I feel like there would be some tension at first. Lavender would be quiet for a bit until she took a few deep breaths. Then she'd ask for forgiveness about all that she had said to Violet when she was leaving Riverclan, as she had been particularly nasty to her sister. I feel like it'd go well as long as they both listened to each other. In the scenario, Lavender will be very emotionally vulnerable, which is unusual to Violet at least because Lavender tried to stay away from being vulnerable when they were younger.

I was angry when I found you covered in ThunderClan stench that night, so many moons ago. I confronted you. You had gone off our territory and I assumed treachery, because why else would you not have taken me? You denied it and I pressed, determined for the truth.
You stopped talking to me. It made me angry. I disowned you.
I only grew angrier when you fell into the arms of that.. ThunderClan rat. That tom that whisked you away and lured your heart from our waters. I confronted you that night, sister. Before you left. Did you forget?
When you told me you were leaving for him; that RiverClan had no hope. Our Clan could not be saved. We were a walking pile of debris about to fall off a cliff, and you sought the security of a Clan that was actually stable. I remember.
The next time I saw you, we would be enemies.

I saw you. In the calamity of war, I saw you lunge for one of my Clan-mates. You looked a lot like she did. Fierce, determined.. ready to fight for your Clan.
I know now that you were mislead, and it wasn't your fault. You always had a fire within you that needed to be let out and burn, and ThunderClan gave you that. But RiverClan has been reignited, and our spark can be set ablaze with passion and unity.
So I will implore you, dear sister, to come home. ThunderClan and their queen bee doesn't know you, doesn't understand you, like I do. We can start anew - the true power duo of RiverClan, and make Dusklion and Fadingstar wish their sibling relationship was as strong as ours.

His name is Sedgeflake. He is a light gray spotted tabby tom with hazel eyes; specifically, they're green with a hint of yellow and brown to them.
Born and raised RiverClan, Sedgeflake has a lot of pride in his Clan despite their many faults. He was just a kit when their parents left camp to go on a walk, never to return alive as a rogue ThunderClan patrol murdered them. ThunderClan's leadership under Eveningstar had been messy at best, and RiverClan had undergone frequent patrol attacks before Kestrelstar snapped, took Firefly Cove, and raided their camp.
The early drama with ThunderClan has impacted Sedgeflake greatly, as he is distrustful of that Clan and iffy on their intentions. Essentially, anything related to them makes him kind of irrational, and he is quick to jump to assumptions even when things may suggest otherwise. He is fiercely "protective" of his sister and cats he considers to be family, to the point of being practically obsessed. Violetfreckle leaving hurt him greatly, especially when he found out where she was going, and he lashed out in any way he could to make her hurt in return. As a result, he said things he didn't actually mean - including transphobic comments directed toward her to-be partner Bumblestar.
Sedgestorm's plan is simple: as he believes Violetfreckle just needs a new direction in RiverClan, he wants to convince her to return through good ol' fashion manipulation. He wants to make it big in RiverClan and believes he can only do so if she's by his side.
........ Obviously, Violetfreckle has more going for her now and doesn't need this loser. Bonus if she reveals the Kit Plans just to rub it in Sedge's face. He'll be upset, they'll depart, he'll probably try to scheme something... anything.. how can he get her back?
Maybe he needs to kill that Bumblecat.
Cue any fights between RC/TC, Sedge tries to gun for Bumble to kill her. Maybe Violet cuts in to beat him up 8) That's her lady dammit! If kits are involved, he may eventually target them - believing cutting Violet's ties to ThunderClan are the only way to get her back to RiverClan.
Assuming he survives this far, I like the idea of him being knocked out of his obsessive behavior a peg. Violet wants nothing to do with him and RC, and he grows to accept it... begrudgingly. Just good growth for him. Would probably focus his energy on poaching TC kids though.... wouldn't it be a SHAME if Vi lost family to RC!

He might die, he might not - kind of dependent on how things turn out IRP. I'd probably have him be casually active around RC since Wolfhive's my main, largely available to harass you n dino. but I might work on some of his relationships so he has more going for him than just her.
