Other users are free to watch, but only the users mentioned are to reply to this thread. That said, Eaglesong does not want any medicine cats or warriors present. She feels that Leopardsong will be enough to get her through her kitting.

Eaglesong

Eaglesong woke to a sharp pain in her stomach, and she let out a sharp hiss. The bracken-colored and white tabby prodded a fellow queen - Leopardsong - in the side, her blue eyes glistening with pain.

´´Leopardsong, wake up!´´ The WindClanner pleaded. ´´Please!´´

Aw, she was having the most wonderful dream. Leopardsong shook the sleep from her mind and blinked over her eyes, expecting to see one of her kits pestering her for something. Nope, just Eaglesong with pain reflecting in her eyes.

"You kitting?" She asked, getting to her paws and swaying a little due to her round belly. She shook out her pelt and weaved her way around the queen. Leopardsong's seen more than enough Queens give birth to have a good handle on how to help without pestering the medicine cats.

The process itself was usually pretty simple, but she could always send someone to fetch a medicine cat if things got messy. "Well, get into your nest, lay on your side," Leopardsong instructs and goes to sit behind the she-cat at her hindquarters. "How bad is your pain? I can get you a stick if it's too intense." Not every queen needed a stick, but if the pain was that intense Leopardsong could certainly find one for her.

@paedyn [Leopardsong's never had a litter, she's due to her first soon, but she does have enough experience in the nursery to help kitting queens.]

Eaglesong

Eaglesong nodded. Getting to her paws, the queen collapsed into her nest and onto her side. She looked up at Leopardsong. ´´I think I can manage without it,´´ She meowed, agony making her voice hoarse. ´´But only until it gets worse.´´

The kitting queen panted, her blue eyes glazed with pain and fear. The bracken-colored and white tabby´s ears lay flat against her head.

Rose, remember that Heronkit is the she-kit and looks exactly like Eaglesong. Tallstar, Lionkit is a golden-and-cream tabby tom with amber eyes. He only has the minor differences to him. ]

Leopardsong nodded her head and watched as the she-cat breathed, monitoring her heaving flanks for sighs of contractions. "Okay, so Eaglesong I need you to push whenever your body is ready. Don't fight your contractions.She said assertively.

"And don't worry I'll be right here with you the whole way." The she-cat smelt heavily of stress and fear, though worrying, it was normal especially when you were doing this without a mate or family at your side. This stuff was scary but beautiful in its own way.

"Grit your teeth when you push, dig your claws into the moss or the earth, it might ground you." Leopardsong advised and then waited. "Let me know if anything feels wrong."

Eaglesong

Eaglesong let out a shaky breath, trying to steady herself as Leopardsong spoke. The words of encouragement were a lifeline, and she clung to them, nodding in response. She could feel the tension in her body, but she focused on what Leopardsong had said, determined to push through the fear.

“Okay… I’ll try,” Eaglesong whispered, her voice trembling but resolute. She dug her claws into the moss beneath her, the earth cool and grounding under her pads. When the next contraction hit, she gritted her teeth, pushing with all the strength she could muster.

Through the pain, she kept Leopardsong’s words in her mind, reminding herself that she wasn’t alone. Even without her mate or family by her side, she had the support of her Clanmate, and that was enough to keep her going.
