"Oh Ravenpaw, I wouldn't be so stressed about it." Rainpaw mewed, trying soothe her anxious sister. "Come and sit by me. Relax for a heartbeat." Ravenpaw was getting herself all wound up again about training. That's all she ever thinks about... Rainpaw was concerned for her sister, she didn't want Ravenpaw to focus only on training. There was so much more to life! And they'd only recently become apprentices, they had plenty of time. Rainpaw sighed as her sister continued, craning her neck to groom the fur on her shoulder. Rainpaw might as well take some time to keep her pelt smooth, even if Ravenpaw wouldn't.

Ravenpaw was pacing anxiously (big shock). She hated the feeling of being idle. She didn't care if she was just clearing the elders of ticks at this point, as long she was keeping her paws busy. "I know we're not going to be made warriors like, tomorrow." She snapped. "But I want to do more. Don't you see, Rainpaw?" Ravenpaw was desperate for her sister to understand her ambitions. But when she turned to look at her and found Rainpaw grooming, frustration welled up in Ravenpaw and popped like a snapping twig. With that "pop" it was gone and she was exhausted.

Ravenpaw flopped down next to her sister, letting Rainpaw groom her mostly black, long fur. She heaved a sigh, it did feel good to stop worrying every now and then... Not that she'd ever tell Rainpaw that.

Floodsight

Floodsight made her around the abandoned twoleg den where RiverClan was currently settled awaiting for their next move home. Though the space was decent and relatively safe, being trapped here in close quarters had made her lethargic. Sure, she was lucky to have gone out hunting and patrolling, but a little more outing would've been nice. She couldn't wait to return to the quiet flowing streams and rolling hills.

Aside, Floodsight had spotted the two apprentices whom, lately, she had come to love like siblings. They were an interesting bunch, for sure. A duo that reflected off of each other and Floodsight found that adorable. After moving into this abandoned space, she seldom had the chance to catch up with them. It had been work, work and work lately. Of which, Floodsight didn't mind at all. She loved helping out with the clan, but once and a while, it is still nice to take a break.

"Rain, Raven, how have you little ones been?" Floodsight approached the two sibling and gave them both a brief lick on the head. With a little more focus directed on Ravenpaw's tuft of fur that looked a little out of place. "It hasn't been a very eventful apprenticeship, has it?"

Rainpaw's ears perked when she heard the familiar voice call her name, and she immediately lifted her head and sat up excitedly. "Floodsight!" She purred, immediately feeling a sense of relief. She loved her sister, make no mistake. Ravenpaw was practically her world. But they had been spending...a lot of time together. Like, a lot, a lot. She was worried that they were going to start stepping on each other's paws soon.

But she didn't dare say anything out loud. She purred as Floodsight greeted them. She had come to see this warrior as a figure to look up to. Like a big sister. This could be just what she needed. "Not...yet." She timidly responded to her question. "Swanberry hasn't really had the opportunity to teach me a lot. Which I totally understand! I'm not complaining!" Her mentor was now heavily pregnant and unable to finish Rainpaw's training. She didn't resent her mentor at all, in fact she was excited for her!

When she heard the voice, and then Rainpaw's greeting, Ravenpaw practically bounced to her paws. Like Rainpaw, she had started to see Floodsight like a big sister. Even Ravenpaw purred in greeting when Floodsight came to them, although she batted at her playfully when she groomed out the tuft on her head. "Hey!" She protested playfully. Ravenpaw glanced at Rainpaw as she responded to Floodsight's question, and flicked her tail in reluctant agreement.

"But at the same time, we'll get to have our ceremonies in our home territory. Where our parents did!" She pointed out. "So that's pretty cool!" And that was the truth, she was pretty stoked for that. "And once things settle down, I'm sure we'll get back to training!" She added hopefully. And great StarClan, was she hopeful.

Floodsight

At their greeting, Floodsight gave a kind laugh, a warm one that not many cats got to hear. It flowed, not like honey but like a trickling stream. She sighs with relief, talking to these little ones was much easier than other warriors. Afterall they were like family, and the others...a bunch of...coworkers. Make no mistake, she loved her clan but she couldn't bear to throw herself into one of those loud, fast-paced, argumentative conversations. It was like a warzone with just words.

"No worries, you'll have much time to learn. Afterall, it's only just begun." Floodsight replied to Rainpaw thoughtfully. She hadn't had much chances to teach her own apprentice much either. There's just nowhere to go, and little to do in such crowded space as the two-leg den. "I'm sure Swanberry will teach you lots when the time comes."

With a smile at Ravenpaw's enthusiasm of RiverClan's soon return, Floodsight gave her a nod with a small smile. "That's right, you'll get to become a warrior on our lands. With you two, I'm sure the clan will be well protected in the future."

Likewise, she wishes their return is smooth and efficient, without conflict. RiverClan had enough conflicts and issues as of late. Cats going missing, getting sick and all sort of problems. Floodsight was glad these were still safe and sound. "And when we get back, how does a hunting trip sound?"

Rainpaw nodded eagerly at what Floodsight said about them having time, but Ravenpaw seemed less convinced. "I dunno, I'm not convinced." Ravenpaw mewed, side-eyeing her sister. She knew exactly what Rainpaw was thinking. But Rainpaw blinked at her sister, clearly confused by the unspoken accusation. "I mean..." Ravenpaw paused to find the words. "I just feel like the time we have will go by so quickly. And I hate just sitting on my paws!" Ravenpaw was aware that she sounded like a whining kit, but she felt comfortable with Floodsight. The twins felt just as comfortable around Floodsight as they did with each other, so both of them felt free to be their authentic selves with her.

Rainpaw touched her nose to Ravenpaw's ear, hoping to comfort her. She didn't like seeing Ravenpaw distressed, even if she felt like maaaybe Ravenpaw was over-reacting a bit. Thankfully, Floodsight's comment about the clan being well-protected seemed to perk Ravenpaw right up. Ravenpaw sat up straighter, puffing out her chest. "You bet!" Ravenpaw meowed confidently, white ears pricked up at attention. Rainpaw purred in amusement, long whiskers twitching. "I'm not sure that I'll be as strong as a fighter as you." Rainpaw meowed. "But I will be the very best hunter I can be!" She proclaimed proudly. When Floodsight suggested a hunting patrol together, both sisters lit up and leaned forward. Rainpaw leapt to her paws. "Oh yes, please!"/"Aw yeah!" Rainpaw and Ravenpaw exclaimed respectively, both at the same time of course. They loved spending time with their "big sister" Floodsight. And a hunting patrol sounded like an amazing experience to both twins.

"Come on now, Raven, you'll miss the free time you have right now when you become a warrior," Floodsight replied with a sparkle in her eye. This one was sure eager to do something. But overworking can come with future consequences, and there was really no rush. "And Fadinstar won't allow warriors under 10 moons. That's more than plenty of time to learn, so take your time."

She was glad their spirits were lifted a little. The little ones sounded like they had their life all figured out in some ways. Floodsight was more than glad they've got something they liked to do, and have something to work towards. She had no doubt they'll be become warriors RiverClan would be proud of.

"That's right, Lionsbeach, Haven springs. The pick is yours when we get back." Floodsight nodded promising the two. She'll have to remember to take time off from patrols once in a while. But meanwhile, now that she did have the time, Floodsight asked, "So what's on the agenda for you two today?"
