"You're fine," Wolfhive's gaze wandered the clearing in search of the duo in question. It was odd - Flamingclaw and Russetflare had been around for the role call, so ditching Willowpaw ?? it just seemed so unlikely.

Regardless, Wolfhive had made it clear these patrols weren't something to take lightly. Once he caught sight of Russetflare [ @forest], he passed Willowpaw to confront him. "Since you didn't do your patrol, you can join Hollyheart and the rest in exile for the next quarter-moon. If you bother trying to come back, bring prey with you to make up for this. Until then, get."

Russetflare has been exiled from ThunderClan until 9/2. Any posts they make around ThunderClan will make them susceptible to being attacked if they do not leave or, circumstances depending, executed.

During the time you roleplay them as exiles, please make at least 3 posts with them in the outskirts before you try to have them rejoin. Follow Missing Cat instructions, but instead of the "why did I go missing" IC, I would recommend focusing on "why I want to come back"! When you're ready for the rejoining, ping dino., Starfall, or myself.

If Wolfhive knew where Flamingclaw went, the warrior would share the same fate. BEAR. isn't bothering though because Flamingclaw was killed off.

Back to Willowpaw, he hummed. "What a load of bad luck. I'll send you on the next batch, okay?"

Sparrowpelt padded back into the clearing, heading to the prey pile before heading towards the Hornet that sent him out. "Huntin' was decent, Snowpaw got a good lesson in 'n even caught somethin' on er first try. Quick learner, that one," Sparrowpelt reported, pride lining his tone. "Otherwise, nothing eventful occurred," and with that, the large warrior would wait to be dismissed before padding off.

"Glad to here that, go get some rest." Wolfhive was pleased things went so well on their side of the ravine - especially since no issues arose. Hopefully Snowpaw would take today's lesson and use it to become an excellent hunter.

Lavendersong and Creepingpaw, upon hunting with Salmonshade a little more then collecting the fresh-kill they had buried out in Willow's Rise, raced back to camp hurriedly. Glancing behind her briefly, Lavendersong was sure Salmonshade was right behind them after also fetching what fresh-kill he had caught. Between the mouse, rabbit, and kestrel they had caught when hunting seperately and then the extra mouse Creepingpaw snagged while they were altogether, that made 4 fresh-kill total between Lavendersong and Creepingpaw. Not bad, but prey seemed more scarce than usual.

Padding back into camp, the pair dropped off their fresh-kill before heading towards the Undercrag to report to Wolfhive.

The young queen's frost colored eyes glanced around before spotting the head hornet, feeling her skin warm slightly under her fur as she was enamored with the intimidating warrior. Lavendersong, with Creepingpaw in tow, padded up to Wolfhive gingerly, dipping her head briefly in a respectful greeting, "Wolfhive, reporting back from the patrol party at Willow's Rise." She purred warmly, "Prey seemed rather scarce, Creepingpaw and I only managed 4 fresh-kill. And Salmonshade was able to thwart a vulture that had tried to attack Creepingpaw."

"To be fair, it missed me by a whisker! I would've been fine regardless..." Creepingpaw mewed in protest, the tip of his tail twitching with irritation.

"Scarce?" Wolfhive echoed in surprise. "Hell, if scarce means we get four additions to the prey pile I'll take it. That rabbit alone can feed a few cats. The vultures probably don't help though, we're working on relocating them it's just.." well in part, not the priority since they were more of a nuisance than dangerous. "A work in progress. If Salmonshade got injured have them go see the medicine cats - otherwise all of you get some rest. Well done!"

Despite having had his muzzle saved by Salmonshade from being shredded by the swooping vulture, the ego-inflated apprentice boasted loudly as he stomped away to grab his share of fresh-kill, "Salmonshade and I were too quick for that dung-brained vulture!" Creepingpaw yowled with victory, his striped tail lashing excitedly as he bounded away.

Lavendersong would normally scold her apprentice when he got too full of himself and acted out, however she dipped her head to return gratitude and mewed in a hushed and gentle tone to Wolfhive before padding away towards the warriors den, "T-Thank you.." She purred softly, feeling the skin underneath her long black fur warm up from being praised by the head hornet. It barely felt like her paws were touching the earth, she was practically floating from the recognition, although fleeting. It felt nice to be noticed, especially by a higher up! The soft-spoken warrior giggled to herself, finally realizing what it felt like to be confident like her own apprentice, Creepingpaw.

Willowfrost padded up to Wolfhive, dropping her catch of two water voles at her paws as her tail twitched irritably. "We've returned. And by we I mean just Antpaw and I. I caught these two water voles and a mouse that Antpaw is bringing right behind me. Antpaw didn't manage to catch anything, but that's not his fault as, again, someone didn't show up for the patrol." She hissed quietly, swinging her head around as if looking for someone. And looking for someone she was. Yet, she still didn't see Sunflowerswirl. "Did Sunflowerswirl stay behind? Her apprentice was almost attacked by a snake and didn't even get proper training!" The she-cat was more agitated for Antpaw than anything, despite her not showing it quite well enough. It would have been fine in her eyes if he caught nothing but still understood how to do a proper hunting crouch, but the poor lad didn't even get to learn that! Had she known it would have turned out like this, she would have taught him herself.

For once, Antpaw doesn't have to say anything. He sits there, feeling an unfamiliar emotion towards Willowfrost. She was speaking up for him. Him. It felt good. And everything she said made sense- though he couldn't deny that he was feeling a tinge of guilt for talking about his mentor like that, Sunflowerswirl was the one who just disappeared halfway through a patrol, not him and Willowfrost. They were not to be blamed.

The words 'didn't get proper training' makes him wince, but again, it wasn't his fault. Antpaw repeats that to himself over and over again until he feels more confident. Yes, his mentor wasn't there to help him, and he even had to run from a venomous (Not, but Antpaw doesn't know that), huge (It was medium to large) viper! (It was just an ordinary garter snake.)

Antpaw nods, and carefully looks for Wolfhive's reaction. He hoped the hornet would also see sense.

Of all the patrols he anticipated going sour, Sunflowerswirl's wasn't one. Wolfhive's surprise was evident as Willowfrost made her report. "No. She left camp with you guys - she just disappeared?" Not only did that seem wildly out of character for the timid lady, but given the threats in the territory... Several had been dealt with, but that didn't mean something else hadn't gone wrong.

And to make matters worse, there was a snake about. Wolfhive's experience with a timber rattlesnake that'd gotten in the nursery had tainted his view of all snakes, and the thought of a known one attacking apprentices made him uneasy. He could still see how Tawnykit's body convulsed from the venom in her veins. "Willowfrost, show me where the snake was. We're gonna kill that 'n look for Sunflowerswirl.. Antpaw, we'll discuss your training when I get back."

Even if Sunflowerswirl was found, Wolfhive got the impression they simply didn't mesh that well. Sunflowerswirl might do better with a less spicy apprentice, and Antpaw could use a mentor with more of a spine... He had someone in mind but his first concern was looking into the disappearance. Cats went missing all the time, but usually not mid-patrol. "Risingstorm [ @Spider.]! Sunflowerswirl's missing - come 'n help us look for her."

[ @TanghuluCat @Badwolf Yep, to my knowledge she's been kidnapped! They'll find some signs but nothing substantial that'd lead to her recovery. ]

Risingstorm heard his name so the white and tabby cat limped over he didn't know what to expect maybe a patrol or something but the scarred warrior didn't expect to hear sunny was missing WHAT?! his mind screamed oh no did she get caught in a trap, or did a fox or something get her he was panicking on the inside he swallowed his throat was dry he stepped forward one more time " Got it " the warrior kept his voice calm.

PATROL TIME LISTEN UP PSPSPSPS

Yall got 48 hours to have your character respond to Spider calling them for a patrol! If no post as been made in the due time than your characters will receive the first punishment in missing patrols

* Warriors 1st Failure: Demotion for 2 weeks and a repetition of their assigned patrol with at least one adult supervisor. Noncompletion will result in the demotion being extended to equal 1 month

* Apprentices 1st Failure: 1st Failure: Must complete an assigned chore supervised by an adult and report upon completion within 10 days. Noncompletion will result in a 1-week demotion

Depending on how badly people report back, there may be a Spider added twist to all of this. None if which will be pretty

I'm stealin how Wolfhive's doin this because, credit where credit's due, it works more efficently." a pause as he watched the group of cats in the Clearing. Hopefully at least some were paying attention. "I ain't skimping on punishments though. All the usual one's apply...don't respond and you'll probably get the norm and worse. Keep me waitin, see what happens."

A pause. Wait. No names needed to be called, they were all pretty much right there...that's not bad. Actually. "Hold on, you lot pretty much directly in front of me. I need all of you, c'mere." he beckoned.
