Nothing seemed to have happened yet today.
So, as usual, Dewfawn found this day... well, uninteresting.

They would probably go out hunting soon, just to do something.

For now, though, they were sitting right outside the warriors den until they decided on what to do.

Cloverkit yawned and walked out of the nursery. It was a bright and sunny day and she had just finished taking a nap. At least, she thought it was a nap. She might have been sleeping. Or dozing. Or it could be napping.

Whatever! It was time to boss around some cats. Specifically... THE cat. Wolfcry, of course! "Hey, Wolfcry!" She yowled and examined the clearing. There was that cat, and the elder and... There they are! Cloverkit bounded over to Wolfcry and twitched her tail as a greeting. "Hi!" She meowed and smiled.

Wolfcry was sitting over in the clearing, she was eating a rabbit. Her ears twitched at a familiar voice. Wolfcry turned her head, her one blue eye landed on Cloverkit. She smiled. "Hi Cloverkit, how are you doing on this lovely day?" she asked with a flick of her tail.

Cloverkit smiled. "Good! I just took a nap!" She meowed then added slowly, "I think I took a nap.." She shook her head. "I don't remember much. I think I was talking to Owlkit back there.. then another kit. Can't remember who." Cloverkit meowed, then shrugged. "Anyways, how's being a warr'or like?"

Wolfcry laughed and pushed the bird closer to Cloverkit, so they could share. "If you're hungry we can share." she said before answering Cloverkit's question. She turned her one eye away and looked out into the clearing at the other cats around her and Cloverkit. She thought for a moment, it was hard for her to even appreciate being a warrior, due to her twisted hind leg. She really couldn't enjoy doing the thing she loved most unlike the other cats. "It's good, Cloverkit." she said, turning her one eye back on the kit. "Living the dream, quite fun helping out the clan. What did you dream about? Sounds like you were half a sleep half awake." she laughed, trying to change the subject

And finally, things calmed down. Fadingdawn and Cardinalpaw skittered away, off to do... whatever. Hawkfur didn't have the energy to deal with one apprentice, let alone another and their petulant mentor. Oh well. The red Fury noticed Leechscar and Lightningstorm trotting towards Twilightstar's den, and for a moment Hawkfur's heart twisted in his chest at the thought of them possibly going to mutter about him taking over when really all he wanted to do was help and oh stars Bravebird would have known what to do and he probably messed it up--

"Oh relax, would you you big lug? You're not the one hijacking a patrol here!"

A familiar voice trickled through his head, hitting one ear and then the other like a small pebble splashing through a stream. Hawkfur paused, ears swiveling wildly as he tried to process what he just heard. "Brave...?" He whispered. But the voice was no more.

Whatever had happened, it had knocked him out of his spiral and landed him back in the clearing, in front of Willowpaw who was looking at him expectantly. Hawkfur shook himself out, taking a moment to control his breathing before nodding to Willowpaw. "Mosspaw? A-Alright then. Why don't you go fetch them and we'll head out, aye?"

Hawkfur scanned the clearing once more, hoping to catch the sight of a familiar lilac and cream pelt, but only the barren camp walls greeted him. Had he hallucinated her? Or was she really here, nudging him along?

Willowpaw nodded and left to get Mosspaw. She hadn’t noticed Hawkfur’s pause, she thought he was trying to think of someone else to bring.

(Mosspaw is another of my characters, he’s just gonna tell his mentor where he’s going.)

Mosspaw was washing his face when he heard a familiar voice call out. “Mosspaw!” It was Willowpaw, “do you want to come on a herb patrol with me and Hawkfur?”
“Sure,” he replied “I’ll just go ask Lionscar.”

Mosspaw eventually found His mentor and asked him, “Hey Lionscar, can I go on a herb patrol with Willowpaw and Hawkfur?”

She leaned forward and licked her tears. She pulled back again. "Nice to meet you Maplekit. Where is your mother? Is your nose feeling a little better? We might have to get you to see Lightningstorm"

"I don't know where mama is." She mewed slightly. "My nose is feeling a bit better, it hurts though. Is LightingStorm nice? I don't think I've been to the medicine den before." The tears on her face stopped coming down. Her nose kept swelling up. "Would you mind taking me there?"

Moonbee looked at the young kit. "That's okay we'll find her later. I am glad your nose is feeling a little better" she said, she then was kinda surprised at Maplekit's question that she let out a softly giggle "Of course!, little one. Lightingstorm is nice. She is gonna get your nose healed right up for you!" she said with a purr. Moonbee leaned forward and licked the tiny kittens nose again before pulling back. "And of course I can take you there." she said before pulling away from the little kit so she could standing up. "Are you ready little one?" she turned her amber eyes on the kit. She knew some kit's could be afraid of medicine cats, and with Maplekit's question early she definitely could tell she was maybe slightly afraid. "Would you like me to stay with you while Lightningstorm takes a look?"
