Applefang smiled. "Nice to meet you Willowpaw. Don't worry about that." she meowed before looking away, her eyes traveled around the clearing. Applefang shook her head. "That's only if Bumblestar says so." she meowed. "The leader will choose who gets to go on missions you know, just like patrols and you'll be a warrior before you know it. What do you hope your warrior name will be?" she said before turning her eyes back on the young apprentice. "Also you said you hope your other doesn't get mad. Why is that?" she asked.

Willowpaw shifted her feet. My warrior name? I've never thought of that. "Hmmmm. I don't know! Ooh! How about Willowpaw?" She mewed. Yay! I made a new friend!! Her eyes shifted from Applefang to all the cats in the Clearing. " Do you have any ideas? Did you get to choose your name?" Willow shut her mouth, not wanting to ask too many questions. @Aphrodite

Applefang turned laughed softly, then shook her head. ‘This cat is strange’ she thought. ‘Very bubbly.’ Her amber and blue eye looked at the young cat. “Willowtree.” She said to the young cat. “No I didn’t get to choose mine. But I’m thankful to Starclan for my name. I like it.” She swished her tail back and forth, her eyes turned away from the young one. “Maybe you can choose your own and give Bumblestar some suggestions. Or maybe Starclan will choose or Bumblestar would.”

Willowpaw thought about the name suggestion. "Ooh! I like that name." She mewed. "But, it will be a few moons before I can be a warrior. I wish I was one already!" She complained. The apprentice shut her mouth. Apprentices don't complain! "When I become a warrior, I will be the fiercest!" She said proudly. (Sorry for short reply, going to basketball soon.]

Applefang nodded. "You got some spunk, little one." she meowed. "You'll be a warrior before you know it, and definitely the fiercest!" She stood up and stretched before sitting back down and wrapping a fluffy tail around her paws. "You hungry? We can share this bird if you would like, unless you prefer something else?"

"Oof!" Acornfall grunted as Emberkit landed on him. "Oh no! StarClan help me!" He wailed dramatically. "I won't go down without a fight!" Acornfall braced his paws underneath Emberkit, gently and carefully bounced him in the air a couple times.

As he played with the kit, he became suddenly aware of another gaze on him. He tried not to let it distract him, he didn't want to drop Emberkit, but he was also wondering who was watching them and why.

Littlerose stood up and walked over to Acronfall and Emberkit. She laughed and looked at the two. "The young kits must like you." she smiled as she looked at them. Her eyes moving back and forth.

Emberkit giggled. Sqeualing happily as he was thrown in the air gently. Giggling as he squealed. "Mommy! Look! I can fly AND defend Thunderclan!" Receiving a gentle purr from Weepingwillow

The brown tabby tom was very relieved for Weepingwillow's apparent approval of their playing. He only realized after that the queen may not appreciate him tossing her son in the air. But Acornfall was careful, he'd never let the kit fall to the ground.

Case and point, when Littlerose came over and startled him he let Emberkit land onto his own stomach with a grunt, looking up at the she-cat who had approached them. He was still laying on his back with little Emberkit on top of him, so the she-cat appeared upside-down to him. "Oh I don't about that." He responded with a chuckle. "After all...they can't very well like a RiverClan intruder like me!" He quickly scooped up Emberkit and leapt to his paws, holding the kit gently by the scruff. "Soon you will all eat fish!" He vowed triumphantly, placing the kit down before resuming his playful crouch.

Emberkit gave a "fierce" growl. "No! Riverclan cats stink! And so does fish! Your gonna eat hairy squirrels for the rest of your life! And your gonna like it!" Emberkit yowled, racing towards Acornfall, for a moment, Emberkit spotted Nightwhisper, but ignored him and scooted under the warriors paws, bumping his head on his stomach and running out, giggling giddly.

Nightwhisper watched fondly, he'd come back from checking on his kits. He sat beside Weepingwillow, "There doing ok." he whispered, licking her ears fondly, throwing her scraps away for her as they watched Acornfall and Emberkit play, Nightwhisper and Emberkit looked identical, the only difference being Emberkits small white-ish pink nose and Nightwhisper's single ginger ear. Nightwhisper watched gently, "He likes tripping cats up, don't let him." He told Acornfall with amusment, his eyes glittering with relief and gentleness, completely different from his earlier panicked and furious look. The Tom was secretly a big cutie at heart, but could be mean and serious when needed as shown on there patrol.
