"expecting kits..?" egretkit repeats in a puzzled tone, frowning slightly. excuse her language, but what the heck does that mean? she knows what kits are, because she's one of those, but what in the world does expecting mean! expecting starts with the same sound eating does..did twillystar eat kits?! no, no. because that means gracks, crowy, and her would have been eaten, too. well, she must've eaten something, like a huge bird. ah, wait! a kit must be some sort of prey, and kits, the rank, is named after that!

anywho, mistykit is older, so she's pretty sure she's right. just like sneezy was.

"I dunno what that means, but I believe you!" she grins with a firm nod. "twillystar must've eaten a lot of kits then!" she comments, fully convinced that expecting was just another word for eating, and kits were some type of prey.

Mistykit blinked at the young kit and had to put a paw over her muzzle just so she didn't burst out laughing. ' 'Expecting means she is going to have them, not eat them silly,' ' Mistykit explains, still trying to hide her laughter. ' 'If Twilightstar ate kits, we wouldn't be here,' ' she lets out a giggle.

Whisperinghive stopped his itching when a small voice spoke. What? His dull green eyes traveled down to a kit, Maplekit. He didn't have the best record with kits. "Um..Hello, Maplekit." He greeted. "I'm Whisperinghive." He introduced himself, his tail curling over his paws as he adjusted to face the kit.

Maplekit swished her tail awkwardly. "Your eyes pretty." She mewed quietly, so only Whisperinghive could hear. "So you're a warrior? Do you get to go on patrols and hunt juicy mice?"

A gray she-cat with one blue eye sat in the clearing, half of her other face was missing. She sat down and wrapped a tail around her paws, trying to hide her crippled hind leg. Her one blue eye shifted around at the other cats. She yawned.

The leader's call rang out a little while ago, but Bittersweetblackberry hadn't gotten the memo until just.... About... Now!

Finally realizing that his Clanmates appeared to be clustering together, he figures it's for a reason and moves in to join them. Beaming at the nearest cat, he stumbles over himself to change directions. His tail goes up high behind him like a flagpole as he cheerfully greets his denmate. "Hi! This is a meeting, right?"

Vinepaw glanced up at the two cats slightly startled by the louder one he glanced over to the other cat they reminded him of Twistedpaw and he mailed face “Yep this is the um gathering though I would think you would k ow that?” He says while looking around the sounds and chatter of his clan mates distracting him

Wolfcry moved her head back and forth, from Bittersweetblackberry and Vinepaw. She only had one eye to look around the camp with. She lost half her face along with her eye in a battle, then crippled her hind leg over the twoleg thunder path. She giggled softly at Vinepaw's responds to Bittersweetblackberry. Even though she laughed, she looked at the young apprentice. "You need to respect your elders Vinepaw." she meowed. "How about you sit by me Bittersweetblackberry." she said as she turned her eye on the cat.

The warrior shrugs off the apprentice's comment. His tail curls in a wide arc just before he sits down near them. "I didn't hear her call for us," he explains. "I just saw y'all comin' over here and figured it was for a reason." Flipping his tail, Bittersweetblackberry (ever so the mouthful) flashes a warm smile over both cats.

"Bittersweetblackberry, you need to open your ears a little more." she joked, she turned her one eye on the warrior before looking back at Vinepaw then looking away 'I wonder what we are gonna be walking about.' she thought.

Moonbee padded away from the young kit and walked over to the clearing of the fresh kill pile. Her eyes scanned the pile on what she wanted to eat. Her one blue and one amber eye scanned back and forth. She looked up as she watched Rabbitfur walk over to his clanmates.

Rabbitfur felt a pair of eyes on him and looked up, expecting to see Gorseflower or one of the kits, but saw a different clanmate instead. He waved his tail happily in greeting, a large smile spreading across his face. "Hey!" He meowed, flicking his tail to indicate she could sit near him. "I'm Rabbitfur." He added, realizing he didn't seem to recognize this she-cat very much. Which he found odd as he talked to pretty much everycat. Oh well, no need to stress it. He'd get to know her soon enough anyway.
