So much has happened over the course of the last three moons. Maybe this exile was for the best. At first, Rainpaw didn't know how he was going to survive. That was before he met Ramen. Ramen helped him, and now it was Rainpaw's turn to help them, after the fire destroyed their home. The tabby stayed awake this night, looking at the stars. Soon, drowsiness hit him. So, the one-eyed tabby curled up, falling asleep to the cool night breeze.

Hopefully no nightmares would come

As the little calico tucked her nose beneath her tail, still getting used to the sights and sounds of the elders' den, she found sleep hard to come by. It had been days since the apprentices' den had collapsed, but the visions of flooding followed her into her dreams. She had tried staying up through the night, fear outweighing her exhaustion. But, eventually, it caught up to her. Now, despite her overwhelming tiredness, it took her what felt like forever to sleep.

When she awoke, though, she wasn't surrounded by water. She stood in an empty field, soft grass swaying in the gentle breeze. The plants seemed to sparkle like dewdrops in the sun. But when Timberpaw reached out to poke them, it wasn't water that clung to her paw, but a small fleck of light. She brought her paw closer to her face, mesmerized by the little spot of light that slowly faded into nothing.

It was then that she spotted another cat, and there was just a vague sense of familiarity. Was this a Star Cat, like Fawnlight? She had felt that same little tug at her heart when she saw the medicine cat for the first time. And so, she tentatively walked closer and spoke softly, "Hello? Are you a Star Cat?"

ThunderClan. The scent hit his nose as soon as he awoke. Next, came a voice, a young one. He opened his one blue eye, and was met with a calico molly. "Uh.. No? I'm not dead last I checked," he snorted, getting to his paws. "Judging from that question, you're probably also not dead. Who even are you?" he inquired, his blue eye scanning the surrounding area. How the heck was he talking to a living cat in his dreams? it was odd, to say the least.

Bright blue eyes blinked in surprise. Oh! She felt her pelt grow warm and prickly as she flattened her ears and looked at the ground. Of course this cat wasn't dead, they didn't have stars in their pelt. That was silly of her. Timberpaw's ears pricked up again at the question. Who even are you? "Uh, my name's Timberpaw. I'm a ThunderClan apprentice!" She tried to feign a bit of confidence, though wasn't entirely sure how well it worked given she was feeling very small. "Who are you? And... how did you get in my dream?" She tilted her head to the side as she asked the question, and sat down with her tail curled over her paws.
