Alpinepaw looked into the Warriors' Den from the entrance. It was a bit dark in there. She carefully padded in to see what lies in there. A new scent drifted to her nose. It smelled like a cat! She looked around before spotting Honeydew a few seconds later.

Honeydew opened her eyes and blinked her eyes, and yawned. She turned as she smelled another cat entering the warrior's den. She turned her one blue and one green eye on a small cat. "Hello" she said.

She tilted her head in interest for a few moments before straightening her head. Alpinepaw shyly meowed, "Hello there!" The young apprentice walked closer until she was a fox length away from her. Honeydew's scent was of interest to Alpinepaw. She had never seen this cat before.

Honeydew smiled, stood up to stretch before sitting back down with her tails wrapped around her paws. The golden long haired she-cat turned her eyes back on the apprentice. “What’s your name young one.” She asked. Her left ear flicked. “Come and join me.”

Her tail was held up high and she breathed slightly quicker than normal. Alpinepaw thought, "She seemed like a nice cat, but I never saw her before. Look at her different-colored eyes..."

Honeydew laughed softly. She could tell the young one was slightly afraid. Who wouldn’t. She was a new cat to Thunderclan. Or it could have been her eyes. She remembered when she was younger how the young cats were afraid. She shrugged the thought away and looked at the young one with her tail held high. “You don’t need to be afraid little one. My name is Honeydew. It’s so nice to meet you Alpinepaw. You have a really pretty name.” She smiled.
