Something about Eaglepaw's demeanor changed when Fadingsun successfully struck her. The blow wasn't as hard as he would've hit a normal enemy; it probably hurt a little, but it shouldn't have hurt too bad... right?

Concern flashed through him, but before he could otherwise react she lunged at him again. This time, however, her teeth were bared. Something about the way she was acting made this not feel like a proper spar anymore.

Fadingsun leapt out of the way of her attack. The way her teeth were bared made him uneasy; he'd keep a close eye on her to make sure this didn't escalate. It wasn't like Eaglepaw to try to hurt him, however, so at the moment he wasn't worried enough to stop their lesson.

He darted forward, trying to land two blows against her chest. Whether he succeeded or not, he immediately leapt back and out of range. He tried to soften those two blows compared to before, in case he'd unintentionally been too rough with the prior blow against her face.
