She watched her clanmates get started and decided that she should as well. It still felt weird to be back hunting in their old territory, almost jittery with excitement to have returned. It smelled the same as she remembered, with only a fainter RiverClan scent than normal. Floodsight padded around until she spotted a squirrel running about in the undergrowth. Floodsight dropped to a crouch, stalking and waiting for the right moment.

Moderate Success
Barely had a success, Floodsight had chased the squirrel up a tree and dragged it back onto flat ground. Ugh, she was sort of rusty upon returning to Haven Springs, but these squirrel sure remember how to be scared of her. She buried the squirrel and continue her hunt, checking once and a while on her clanmates.
Not long after she had killed the sparrow, a new scent wafted towards Irisfrost's nose. A lizard. They were barely worth the effort it took to hunt them, in her opinion, but it was prey. If ShadowClan liked lizards, surely there would be a cat in RiverClan who enjoyed them.
Irisfrost pinpointed the creature among the pebbles that covered Haven Springs. Slipping into a hunter's crouch, she started to stalk the prey. It was easy. The lizard was distracted, and her paws had slammed onto it before it could even start to run. She thanked StarClan for the prey and buried it among the pebbles its life had been cut short on.
[+1 lizard]
Irisfrost continued to pad along the empty streambed, routinely scenting the air for prey. Eventually she picked up another scent- a mouse. She started to stalk it, eyes narrowing as she focused on the creature. Hopefully she would be able to catch it; two pieces of prey was a decent haul, but three was better, especially when the lizard was more a snack than a meal. But it seemed the luck she had with the other two hunts had run out. The mouse must felt the vibrations of her paws on the ground. It started to run, and Irisfrost leapt after it, but she was too far away and her paws landed on the rock-strewn ground. Her tail lashed in annoyance as it disappeared. Never mind. I'll see if I can get anything else before we go.

The lionheart relaxed a bit. She hadn't noticed anything like other clans... that was a relief. Sniffing the air hard one last time Goldfish loved on, very consistently placing markers. This was riverclan land now, not some deserted place up for the taking! Goldfish wanted to make that clear.Oh, good, she spotted her other patrolmates. Padding over to them, The Ace of Spades flicked one ear in acknowledgement of their contribution to the patrol.. or because she had a mosquito buzzing in her ear. "Notice anything suspicious?" She asked, looking between the two tomcats.

Deerspark sheepishly lifted his head before addressing Goldfish with a soft nod. "Nothing..." Which was good but also bad. He would honestly rather bad things happen now rather than later just to get it over with. Also, what was it with bugs and Goldfish? Deerspark didn't mind anything as long as it wasn't bothering him or straight up buzzing in his ear. So, the tom trotted over to her, hovered her muzzle over her ear and snapped his jaws at the insect, splicing it in half.
He spat out the rest of it (of course. What kind of cat would willingly eat freaking bugs?) then shook his fur to free it from some of the humidity, backing away from the Lionheart as well. "So... Any... Thing else?"

Right after burying her squirrel, Floodsight was back on track for another one. Somewhere in the close quarters was another critter hiding amongst the undergrowth. Just a whiff of the air, she could smell the subtle warm scent of a mouse nibbling.

Complete success!
After taking a step, the mouse was suddenly on the run. But… towards her? Huh? Without a moment to think, Floodsight pounced on the mouse and ended the critter with a crunch. She looked up just in time to see Irisfrost stepping away. Oh, she may have disturbed the other warriors hunt. Not wanting to cause the other warrior to be annoyed with Floodsight’s squirrel chase earlier, she made her way to offer a humble apology. Floodsight padded after the molly dropping the mouse by her paws. With a quiet and soft voice she spoked, “I believe this was yours. I may…I may have made a noise earlier.”

Inventory | +1 Mouse
“Ah, it's alright." Oliverat whispered “Lots of prey today.." Before quickly scenting a mouse, crouching down and following after it. @kittycatburmise @ace.
As Irisfrost parted her maw to search for the scent of prey, Floodsight came over to her, dropping a dead mouse by her paws. The one she had just failed to catch. Her eyes met the other warrior's as she apologised, and Irisfrost dismissed her words with a flick of her tail. "It doesn't matter who made the noise. It's dead now. You have it; you were the one that caught it." She wasn't going to take credit for a piece of prey another cat had caught. That went against everything she had been taught in her early moons about truth and fairness. It didn't matter if Floodsight had only gotten it because she had been hunting it; it was still her that had killed it.
Irisfrost scented the air, and the tang of a rabbit wafted towards her. The mouse caught and now another potential piece of prey; maybe her luck hadn't run out after all. But rabbits were fast, and she was sure it could outrun her if given the chance. But if they had two cats... Irisfrost cast a glance at Floodsight. "Let's catch this one together," she suggested. Her eyes flickered to Oliverat, wondering if he could join them- three cats was better than two- but he was busy stalking a mouse. Two it was, then.
