Hornetkit grumbled, as noises and movements awoke her from a (quite pleasant) sleep. "Wh??" She rolled over onto her back. No way was she going to move without knowing why. Yeah, someone had said something, but she didn't hear! She was far too comfy for that. 'See someone today....' that's all she got. She noticed her sister's tail curl around hers, and blinked open her eyes. If Waspkit was paying attention, well, it must be important enough.
'Follow me . ?' Her ma called. Huh? She did not one bit feel like following anyone right now, but... Whatever ma said was basically the warrior code. She stumbled to her feet, ugh, it was literally nap time right now! This felt necessary, but, whatever... Waspkit was already by the exit, waiting for her, "Yea, yea..." She mumbled as she sulked after her, "I wan' nap again soon... After dis." She muttered the complaint to her sister as she joined her at the exit. Softdaisy seemed to be making her way towards a white tom, ' It's your father'?!?! Her father! Wow!!! She had one of those?! Her excitement was soon disrupted by a jab from Waspkit "NUH-H!" she yelled, "I' way more, , er ,, urrrrr," the words totally escaped her. "Way more cool!" In triumph, she flicked her head into the air, as if she's just derived the most gut-wrenching insult ever heard, and began strutting up to Spiderthroat with her sister.
[Hornetkit doesn't get the whole dead mum thing yet :') so she'll be referring to Softdaisy as ma for now if that's okay !!]

After Hornetkit's totally-awesome-how-did-she-think-of-that remark, Waspkit gasped in annoyance and huffed, padding over to the white tom with her sister. She was getting tired again, and going back to sleep did sound nice, but their dad was here! A weird emotion flashed across Waspkit's mind. Why didn't he visit? Was dad super-ultra-amazing important to the clan? Her baby mind couldn't figure it out! When they got closer, Waspkit sat down and tried grooming herself to look pretty. If she had known it was their dad they were visiting, she would have done this at the nursery! But Waspkit was already perfect, stunning!!
"Do you thinks one of us will be his ap...apprentice? I bet it's gonna be me!" Waspkit teased,
that one word getting stuck in her throat.

Hehe! Looks like her jab landed pretty well! Within seconds, she wasn't one bit sleepy any more. Out-insulting Waspkit was far more important than sleeping - oh, and maybe meeting her Dad. As she strutted alongside Waspkit, she realised loads'a kits were already here - HMPH. What a pain! How was she gonna talk to him now!? Peering over a few heads, she tried to get a good look at him. He was a biiiiiig white cat, waow!!! Would she be that big one day? That'd be cool. Waspkit soon snapped her out of her thoughts, claiming that... She'd be his apprentice?! "NO WAY!" Hornetkit bounced into some strange version of a battle stance, paws totally misplaced, a little more akin to a hunter's crouch, but still - not quite. To be honest, she had no idea what her retort to that could be, "no 'cus he'd uh... uh," she trailed off, before shaking her head (as if rattling it about would magically clear it), "there's just no, no way!" She bounced up from her stance, trying her darnedest to stand on her back paws, "Dad!! Hi, hi hi!!" She yelled out to him, before falling straight down onto her haunches. Unbothered by what should be an embarrassing fall, she turned her head to Waspkit, "bet I can get his attention first!" she gibed.
Mitekit awoke with a slow start all she could hear were, "Meet..someone..new". She untangled herself from the large nest of bug-themed kits tiredness evident in her slow movement. Her long limbs carried her closely behind her Auntie Softdaisy, this was her first time being outside and she was very focused on the wide blue sky that never seemed to end. Before she could stare too long tho her aunt brought her attention to the white cat in front of them...her father?
The kit watched as her siblings bounded towards him leaping with excitement however she paced around her aunt biting at her paws as she stared at him.

The Calico was having a decent morning. Enjoying the smell of the crisp dew, watching birds fly from branch to branch, listening to the chirps they sing back to one another. Hearing the gaggle of children far too late. Only after the apparent Mother had brought him to their attention.
He did nothing other than blankly stare at her with an unamused expression as they all bound towards him. He was almost positive a few of them were actively climbing atop him just based off of how much his fur was getting pulled. Maybe he should have stood up in the minimal seconds he had instead of remain laid down.
A sigh heaved from his shoulders as the kits acted like kits. Normally, in normal situations in which this is not, he could easily just saunter off. Sadly, he was the main topic, something he never thought would happen.
"You each get to question me for...until the sun reaches just the top of that tree." he stated, gesturing to a large oak just outside of camp. (roughly like 20 min lol). "One at a time, no talkin over one another. Begin."

Yes he was able to get to see his father. He had soooo soooo many questions, but first he had to do something. He had to try and get on his father since his fluff would make the perfect seat of course. So the kit jumped up and tried to land on his father. He kinda just bounced off, but instead of taking that he switched plans to just climb up since his jumping technique wasn't down pat yet. Once the kit managed to get up he had to actually think of what to ask his father since it seemed they were to get only one question since there was SO MANY siblings. "Da, you luvs us..?" He asked with his big kitten eyes sparkling. Did he know that he was basically guilt tripping someone who actually wasn't his father? No, not at all. He was just not really understanding this whole deal.

Waspkit snickered as her sister tried saying hi and falling to the ground after standing on her hutches, her little tail lashing. She then gasped when Hornetkit declared they'd get their fathers attention first, opening her mouth to let out the most-terrifying-ever-even-Starclan-got-scared hiss before snapping her head towards their dad who finally decided to speak. Waspkit wanted to speak first, but Fleakit beat her to it!! With a huff the half white kit sat up as straight as she could and spoke, smirking at Hornetkit. "Do you have any awesomes stories you can tells..us?" She asked excitedly.
A question! What kind of question would she ask? Flykit tried her best to get ahead of her siblings, but failed with her stubby little legs. If only walking were as easy as talking! If she could walk half as fast as she could talk, no cat could stop her! She'd be like a uh... she'd be the fastest cat in all of ShadowClan! And if she really triedshecouldbecomeevenfasterthanaWindClanner!Whic hshethought wasprettyimpressiveconsidering WindClan cats were pretty fast-
Right! What kind of question did she have? Well, what her mom was like. Or maybe what kind of thing she should use to practice her hunting? She'd used a rock a few sunrises back. It wasn't her worst idea but certainly not her best. She remembered that feeling, making that kind of face. Let's just say jagged rocks and soft pads don't exactly match.
Flykit watched her other siblings scramble, doing the same. It was almost like a stampede! She'd never actually seen a stampede but she imagined this is what one looked like. Little kittens trying to trample a poor Spiderthroat. She joined them, of course, the entourage of fluff blurring together at some point. In all of her stampede-participation, she forgot to think of a question. A question! What question? How could she ask only ONE question? There was so much she wanted to know! That would definitely take longer than the time-frame Spiderthroat suggested.
"Papa! I have importan' question,"
Her tiny squeaky voice sounded above the rest of the squealing. It wasn't really that important but she still wanted an answer.
"Was'sa deputy?"
The word had come up several times yet she was still trying to figure it out. Important it was, and a title to claim. But what was it really? What did it mean to be a deputy?
