Lately, there was nothing for her to do except go with the flow. Meetings had become mandatory, and while Lostspark could not recall if she'd missed any meetings on purpose, she settled in a corner nontheless, near ShadowClan's camp exit, gaze flitting over her Clanmates.
Palekit raced into the clearing where Dawnstar stood up on the Grimpeak. His paws jittered with excitement as his pale blue eyes gazed up towards the towering leader of ShadowClan. ’Is it time? Could it be now? Will I finally become an apprentice?’ The diluted calico scampered to find a place to be seated, with his chest puffed out pridefully. He was more than just excited, he was…elated…thrilled? Jittering with the prospect of finally being able to explore the outside world that he had longed to do since almost forever.

Any day, Dawnstar could pop. Slytiger was still gone, but soon he should be able to return and hopefully with a better attitude towards patrols. The Deputy shouldered out of the warrior's den, eyeing her mate leader from where she sat on the Grimpeak, the very pinnacle of radiance. Things were looking up for ShadowClan now, and she couldn't think of much that would have to be reported that would be negative.
Hawkbite moved from the corner of the camp he'd decided to sit guard in. It was almost amusing to see Dawnstar so round these days. He had started to wonder how the she-cat even got around. Thank the stars, he'd never have to worry about that. He couldn't even imagine the struggles the leader was going through. Anyways, the Commander made himself comfortable at the back of the crowd this time. Sitting neatly with his tail over his paws and a more relaxed posture compared to the normal.
Whoop de whoop, Dawnstar was as angry as ever and calling another meeting. Shrewstep got his tail into the gathering crowd, well, metaphorically anyway. Mostly he just nodded quickly at Hawkbite in the back of the crowd before squirming forwards a bit, so he’d actually be able to see what was going on from his diminutive height. (Open)

rookfire did his best to ignore dawnstars uncharacteristically worse mood, it had never been 'good' per se, but it was still worse now, and simply gathered by the grimpeak. from the spot he assumed, to dawnstars and the grimpeaks right, the enforcer had positioned himself the face the crowd, giving him the ability to both look at dawnstar and his clanmates with a simple turn of his head (though a bit further of a turn for the direction he had lost his sight). he left silver eyes drift, scan his clanmates for any trouble makers and let his mind wander. the cannibal had not struck recently, and besides the stonetail situation, no one had gotten seriously hurt or died (unless he somehow completely missed news of that eating through the ranks), it was calm. too calm. riverclan was still stars know where from what he knew, but their complete lack of presence was making him antsy. like they would strike when everyone least expects..he still had a long way to walk and a lot of training to host before he felt shadowclan could hurt riverclan in a way that mattered. not to wipe them out entirely, but to drown enough of them in the very waters they called home to make them consider a nice little name change. whatever, during the time he was less than focussed on he had quietly noted a couple of apprentices he would like to see earn their warrior name next gathering, perhaps if he found the time he could ensure that happen, one or two of the former riverclanners that had recently found their way into shadowclans apprentice rank and earned themselves a especially long and calculated stare. .. pondpaw, stars he wouldve up and left if dawnstar had chosen to rename him something like that. truly, it felt like a curse in disguise, dawnstars very own way to communicate her distaste. additionally, a ridiculous amount of kits had filed into the clearing, easy to miss amongst familiar faces. one of the priorly mentioned familiar faces, mudslide, happened to move around the same area as rookfire, earning herself a neutral "hello" and a nod.
roachflare lifted his head, dark fur sticking out at awkward angles as the tom squinted through the midday light. after a good stretch, bones quietly clicking as he went, and a hearty yawn, the tortoiseshell tom made his way over to the grimpeak. his smaller size wasnt really an advantage anywhere but whilst hiding, but especially when it came to seeing what was happening if cats had formed what appeared to be a solid wall of differently coloured fur, he cursed his parents. just, just a tiny bit taller. that wouldve been enough... dawnstar appeared stressed and it made him feel a bit tense but he settled properly either way.

It was rather entertaining for the apprentice to watch the younger kits spirit. “It’s nice to meet ya FishKit…” let’s see, how could he engage and keep conversation with the little one? “Are ya close to becoming an apprentice?” he questioned kindly.
Dawnstar grimaced and scrunched her face when she felt another kick to something in her belly that wasn't supposed to be kicked. It hurt a lot. She had to take a moment to stare down at her stomach until the pain subsided and it seemed like pain in the asses calmed down. If they could just let her get through this meeting!
"Ashkit, Mosquitokit, Wispkit, Shadekit, Wormkit, and Palekit. Come gather below the peak so I can get your ceremonies done." Dawnstar ordered in a clipped tone. This was misery, she was never doing this again... probably.
"Since it's been rather quiet, with no deaths, and half-eaten bodies, I've decided to lift the restriction, warriors, and I mean warriors, are allowed to leave camp on their own again." Or at least until some weird murder starts up again. At this rate, the next murder was going to be her darn kits cause she was going to kill them. It was like they knew she was doing something important and had to bother her!
The round leader silently seethed with her ears pinned back and expression fierce, waiting for the kits to come up. This meeting was going to be short, very short. #shcmeeting
