Maggotkit gives Fallenkit a long, shrewd look, clearly thinking of something to say. It isn't that the little meanie doesn't know what it wants to ask, only that it's unsure how to ask it--which bothers it. Maggotkit's not very strong, doesn't care much for clan life, and has had absolutely rotten luck making friends its own age, but it typically prides itself in its ability to use words well.
And yet, here it is. Sputtering and fumbling. This, like everything else, must be Fallenkit's fault somehow.
"...Why do you like jumping on cats?" It asks eventually. "I mean. Okay. Why does Fallenfalls jump on cats?"
Fallenkit stared at Maggotkit. I don't. Well, I- She broke off, uneasily. Why did it make it so hard for things to happen sometimes? It was a game! She squeaked helplessly.
