It took him quite a bit to scent out the frog, the scent of mud disguising it u til he finally spotted. About time huh? It shouldn’t have been that hard! He got into a crouch, taking careful steps as he crept onto the frog. Oh he prayed to StarClan that the mud didn’t make him slip.

He got close enough and leapt, pushing himself off the ground and having his claws meet the front, who thankfully didn’t notice him this time! He pierced it harshly with his claws, smiling as he picked up the muddy paws. Oh—right…mud. He winced as he felt it squelch in between his paw pads.

Once Spiderpaw got the frog, Bloomingblaze trotted through the mid cheerfully.
"Look at ya' go!" She complimented "Y're made to be a warrior!"

She looked up at the sky.
Getting dark.
Honestly, she wished she could stay in the mud a little longer.
It felt good in the heat.
But, it's getting late, can't stay out forever.
Even if hunting at night was fun, they'd already been out a while.

"Ready t' get our catches and head back?" She asked as she looked back at Spiderpaw.

He nodded eagerly. It had been getting darker and his night vision hadn’t been the best to say the least. At least not of the standard for a ShadowClan cat.

He pranced over with his frog, going to find his mouse next. The moment he had gotten onto grass he tried to quickly wipe and mud off of himself. Sure, most the time his fur was a mess with petals and leaves and such, but mud is where he drew the line.

Anywho—he tried to get distracted from his ick as he dug up the mouse he had previously caught and grabbed it with the frog (which felt slimy and tasted gross in his mouth, he hates it).
