Gulp. An expedition. Bane wasn't keen on this, but she wanted to go along for the ride, even if none of her siblings were here... oh, stars, maybe this wasn't such a good idea, she would be all alone! Red alert, red alert! Turn around, head back-- OOOMPH! The Storyteller basically knocked directly into Shellpaw, with a small yelp. Ducking her head I embarrassment (while simultaneously panicking inside,) Baneberrypaw jumped back. "S-sorry! So sorry. I didnt mean to, i swear." Her words were a jumble and her shoulder hurt from her potential bonk."You okay?"

Soon enough, Shellpaw was sat imagining what an expedition might be like, seeing vast expanses of new territory and - oooh maybe a new river! What if they found new fish and -
"OOOPF," as per usual, Shellpaw had found himself totally unaware of his surroundings, resulting in him toppling over from Baneberrypaw's slight knock - to be honest, it took him a while to figure out what had even happened: green eyes darting around him, looking for some kind of cause, surely he didn't go falling for no reason?? As soon as he clued in, he gave a sigh of relief, for once, the cause wasn't his sister trying to batter him. "Oh no, it's okay!!" He bounced back up, unbothered by the fall, "are you okay?!" They darted closer to her, face twisted into a slightly concerned expression.

Irisfrost
RiverClan was moving camps. Most likely a good thing; she had seen the state of the camp they left. The bloodstains on the ground and even the walls. The damage to the walls, the prey pile, the nests by the invaders. The memories of the bloodbath that had occurred there. Yes, it would be good to start on a blank slate. One without the gruesome memories that came with it.
But not all the memories attached to it were gruesome. RiverClan had spent... what? Eleven moons? in it. That was a long time. Kits had grown up and became warriors in that camp. Cats had fallen in love and started families and died there. It would be hard to let go of those memories.
But RiverClan had done it before, and they would do it again. They were adaptable, like the river they were named after. If this was what they needed to thrive, so be it. Irisfrost would accept the change.
With that thought in mind, she padded towards the gathering crowd around Fadingstar. Irisfrost was ready.
Shrikestorm's ears perked up the moment he heard the call. A chance to help find Riverclan a new camp? He padded over quickly, his eyes scanning over the cats already gathered. He couldn't lie, his paws itched with anticipation. Riverclan was going to make a comeback, and he knew it.

Event [#event]
A large part of the Clan showed; Fadingstar debated having some stay behind, but there were still enough warriors and apprentices remaining back at the den in case something happened.
The leader beckoned with his tail for everyone to follow. "While we're out here, listen to what the higher ranks tell you. Anyone who causes problems will be sent home."
He left it at that and headed out of the Twoleg den. He had a destination in mind already: the cliffs that made up Rugged Range and the territory beyond. A cliffside camp was likely something the other Clans wouldn't expect.
They'd be expecting RiverClan to settle by the river again, most likely, or to return to a previous camp. Hopefully this camp would be a lot harder for them to actually find.
The leader maintained a brisk pace as he headed in the direction of that area. Once the sea breeze hit his face and the cliffsides came into view, he slowed and twisted his neck to look at the Clan behind him.
"A cliffside camp is a great way to make it harder for the other Clans to find us. I want to find the right area, though; one that isn't too dangerous but that's in a spot that's quite far from where our previous camp was. If anyone sees anything interesting, please let me know."
[ Fading and Dusk will be locating RiverClan's help with the assistance of a spirit. Because of that, nobody in this group should find their new camp! Any areas that are suggested will ultimately be turned down, but you're welcome to have your cat make observations about the area or suggestions for where they should settle.
At this point, the group is primarily walking along the cliffs looking for the right spot. Once the sign has been given to Fading and Dusk, the roleplay will continue! Please VM with any questions/concerns, as always ]
Fadingstar is currently RiverClan's leader. He has an open den policy; his den can be found here. If you have any questions or concerns about RiverClan, or any plots to propose, feel free to leave me a VM or DM! Please do not take my characters' IC opinions as reflective of my own.
Re: Marching Forward and Moving On (New RiverClan Camp Discovery)
"A cliffside camp?" Adderstrike spoke up a bit confused before pondering it a bit as she looked back to the younger in the group. It made her think about Primrosekit and how they were reluctant to move away from the mountains that they had only known as home. Then she thought about her desire to stick around up in the mountains and to not return back at. She hummed a little before speaking again. "We would have to learn how to climb like the Thunder rogues do in case anyone falls down." Was her first thought that this was the type of spot they were going to go for. Hell have her soul if she said yes, but it wasn't the worst idea ever. Though she couldn't stop thinking about a kit falling down...
Re: Marching Forward and Moving On (New RiverClan Camp Discovery)
Moonpaw felt a pit form at the bottom of her stomach. A cliffside camp..? What if someone fell, or they got found and forced off..? Her ears went flat at the thought. She sighed as she looked around and just went back to being near Grimpaw, who looked bored to say the least.
