Wormkit scowled, what had he done now to keep his ceremony from happening this time? Why hadn't it happened yet. It had to be happening soon, but how soon? The Shadowclan kit let out a frustrated sigh as he rose to his paws.

It's spent the last couple of weeks isolating itself from most other cats, a few having a pass to at least hang out with him. It had to recover from Wildpaw's confession. The tom kit had been reeling ever since.

It's not that it didn't like her. He at the very least liked her, but beyond that was anyone's guess. It wanted to protect her, but how could it protect her from itself. It sighed softly, shaking the thought from his head, he scanned the camp for any signs of life.

(I forgot a word in the title lyrics gd)

Wildpaw climbed up a tree and sat on a branch. She wondered what Wormkit was up to. It had been a while since they last talked. @seeingstars

Wormkit sighed softly as he rose to his paws. Maybe he'd just go out, who knows. He didn't know what to even do if he went out. Sneaking out had stopped being fun, being around anyone stopped being fun.

The Shadowclan cat stood somewhere near the edge of camp, staring blankly ahead of itself. Why couldn't it get that whole scene out of it's head? It played back in painful detail, the pauses, the silence the discomfort. He sucked in air through his teeth, before sighing softly.

Wildpaw jumped down from her tree she almost didn't land but luckily she caught herself then she saw wormkit. she walked over to it. "Hey, I'm sorry about the last time we talked." she mewed @seeingstars

Her sudden appearance startled the tom, a nervous laugh escaping his maw as he stammered out a a clumsy greeting "Wildpaw- h-hey- don't- uh- don't worry about it" He said, flashing as convincing of a smile as he could.

His tail tip twitched behind him as he looked on at her. He felt a weird feeling in his stomach, it felt like it owed it to her to like her back, she was his closest friend after all "It really wasn't that big of a deal" He said once more letting a nervous laugh pass through his unsure smile.

It was a big deal, it shook his whole world. He now had to figure out it's feelings. Should he listen to his mama and the other queens in the nursery? or should he listen to the subtle nagging feeling in his gut?

He looked up at her a small sigh escaping him before he spoke "No Wildpaw, genuinely, it's fine." Wormkit furrowed his brows once more, desperately searching his mind for some kind of correct thing to say

"You don't have to feel bad you didn't do anything wrong I just... I like you a lot but I don't know... what exactly you want to do about it like... liking me" He said nervously clarifying.
