"Yellowtwist!" The Commander would call to the other Enforcer, moving swiftly through the clearing so he could chat more casually. He'd been calling for a few members lately and it was getting pretty old, oh well. It was part of the job, right? Sure.

"I wanna teach you how to spar more efficiently, care to learn?" Hawkbite would inquire before flicking his tail for the younger feline to follow him. "Need to touch up on your skills, anyway. Never know when the next fight is going to happen, stretch those muscles," Hawkbite spoke, flexing his own muscles. They hadn't been worked out very often lately. Mostly just the tree climbing he'd been doing lately.

oo, alright, battle practice. Yellowtwist wasn't sure this would actually help him considering whatever he was about to be taught was for people that actually found use in the front paw blow, but it was worth a shot. Besides, Hawkbite knew that he wasn't the strongest cat.


When was the last time Yellowtwist had sparred? The enforcer searched through his memory to realize the last time he had fought someone was in the riverclan battle?(still didn't know what the hell happened there, didn't matter though.) Damn, he really needed to spar with someone sometime. "Yeah, alright."

"You'd taken a class or two with me when you were younger, but this will be a more advanced class. Let's get you specialized with stealth work and speed," Hawkbite spoke, waving his tail a bit. "In a clan where brute strength and size is the main style, it's good to have a few members that can utilize their brain and weaponize the shadows and speed," Hawkbite spoke.

"When we work on speed and stealth in this aspect, it's not about how hard you can knock the other down. It's more important to get them down fast, so using moves that are hard to dodge as opposed to smacking them down. This also means you have to move faster than the other can swing because being knocked down is going to mess up your entire fight," Hawkbite paused, stopping his pawsteps in the middle of the clearing. He'd turn to face Yellowtwist now, checking to see if he was following and understanding.
