Waspmeadow cantered into the clearing where the desolate twoleg nest loomed, and stretched her paws out infront of her. She sat down, curling her tail around her legs, and looked in intrigue at the empty structure before her: it had an eerie feel about it, and the constant salty wind lashing her face only blurred the view. She tried to shake the feeling of uneasyness, but a deep ache in her legs replaced the sensation; She tilted her head and sighed, looking around for someone to talk to.

Willowkit slowly moved forward, but her tiny legs folded, and she tripped on her tail to the ground. Ouch. She muttered.

Willowkit laughed and got off the ground. She crouched down again, just like Salmonleap had taught her, and she moved forward again. Just like the first time, she tripped over her tail.

"Hmmmm.... maybe keep your tail only loosely tucked in, but just enough that it doesn't hit the ground. That way you don't trip yourself." Salmonleap laughed to himself. "It took me a while to catch my first fish. You won't get it right away, or even after a few tries! It might take a while, but when you do bet it, it feels amazing!"

I can't do it! Willowkit thought, her eyes crumpled in anger. She got down in her crouch again, keeping her tail tucked looser. This time, she stalked forward without falling down.

"You got it quicker than I ever did! My mentor was strict. Always told me to 'do it myself, I'd figure it out'. I try not to do that, as much as possible."
