Thrushkit sat and nitpicked at leaves. Some of them had turned a bit brown from rotting in the sun for too long. But Thrushkit liked leaf-fall better, so he took this as a sign it was coming soon. The heat wasn't unbareable, but it wasn't great when it was on your flank every day.
