Heathernose blinked in acknowledgement, she figured as much. She glanced at Lionscar before taking a step forward. "I don't suppose...you'd be ready to try and make amends with Lionscar and me?" She asked tentatively. "Be involved in the kits' lives?" She didn't have to look at Lionscar to guess the horrified look on his face, and she felt guilt ripple through her pelt. It wasn't totally her right to ask this after everything Fireman had done to Lionscar. However, they were still clanmates. The kits were bound to meet Firemane and ask questions. Might as well get this taken care of now, upfront, before the kits were here and things got even more complicated.

Uh... I don't know if Lionscar would want that. he mewed. Lionscar looked at him. "That would be fine as long as Heathernose is ok with that." Lionscar mewed still surprised by the sudden change in attitude. @Luna16

Heathernose smiled warmly at her mate then lightly shrugged her shoulders. “His wrongs were committed against you, Lionscar. If you’re willing to try and work past them with Firemane, then I support your decision.” She meowed. “I don’t have any kin other than you and the kits.” She reminded him. “I can’t even imagine what you’ve been through. So no matter what you decide, I will support you.” She purred touching her muzzle to Lionscar’s.

"Then Flamemane, you get one more chance if you mess up again you can't be near the kits." he mewed. Thanks little bro well ill give you guys space and I'm sorry for all the trouble. i was just scared you would try and take Lionscar away. Flamemane mewed. @Luna16

Heathernose nodded, then turned again to Firemane and narrowed her eyes. “Don’t make me put a permanent scar on that face.” She meowed warningly. “You do anything to these kits and it won’t just be Lionscar you’ll have to deal with, you’ll have to answer to me.” She flicked her tail as she said her peace. She just wanted Firemane to understand her stance. She looked at Lionscar and smiled warmly. She never thought when she first agreed to meet with him that she’d be gaining a family again.

I wont i promise and i already have a permanent scar. Flamemane mewed showing her the scar on his throat. But any way bye Flamemane walked away and back to camp. Lionscar looked at heathernose "This is awesome I cant belive we are having kits!" he mewed happily @Luna16

Heathernose nodded to Fireman as he departed, her tail flicking thoughtfully. Perhaps this was a sign of good things to come. She looked at Lionscar and purred happily, touching her muzzle to his. “I’m glad you’re happy!” She purred. “I know it’s a little sooner than we had originally talked about…” She let her voice trail off, she had been a little concerned about Lionscar’s reaction since they hadn’t really planned on kits so soon. But she was relieved he seemed as happy as she was.

Family. The word brought a purr rumbling from Heathernose’s chest. She brushed her muzzle against Lionscar’s. “Our family.” She repeated, she loved the way it sounded. An image came to mind, of kits scampering around them as they shared prey. I’ll probably need to speak with Twilightstar soon. She noted. A little sad that she’ll have to move into the nursery and won’t be sharing a nest with Lionscar anymore, at least not for a while.

Lionscar noticed a troubled look on Heathernoses face. "Whats wrong?" he mewed in concern as he nuzzled her cheek. @Luna16
