this is my VA story. please do not reply on this thread. please vm or pm me for comments or name ideas. this is set partly in the territory of my own custom clan. this VA does not affect the main roleplay of my custom clan(TideClan). this VA is made with custon characters. these characters are NOT real and closed for roleplays. i will post a new chapter when i have time(7th grade is annoying). these will be very short chapters! i dont have a lot of time to make long or detailed ones. if you want, i can mention you with a more detailed chapter! <3

{·~ CHAPTER ONE ~·}

A black tom kit ran across the clearing. Almost.. They took in sharp breaths and crouched down. They sprang their legs and jumped onto a tree.

"Hah!" They called out and stuck out their tongue. A white she kit with blue eyes suddenly ran into the tree. "Awh, no fair, Moonkit! You're faster than me!" The white kit whined and collasped out of exhaustion. Moonkit jumped down and swatted the white kit's ear. "You're just a slowpoke, Dewkit." The tom kit teased and narrowed his eyes. "Don't leave your belly exposed! Enemies could claw at it. That's what Tallwave told me." Moonkit grinned.

In that moment, a brown tomcat rounded the corner. "You two stop racing in the clearing!" The tomcat spat and walked to the leader's den. Dewkit glared at Moonkit before yowling, "Sorry, Tallwave!" Moonkit rolled his eyes and padded toward the nursery. Dewkit stood up quickly. "Where are ya going?" She yowled at his leaving form. Moonkit stopped and turned his head to look at her. "To the nursery. I wanna nap." He meowed and walked inside. Moonkit found an empty nest next to Oceanbreeze, his mother, and curled into it. He closed his eyes and had a dreamless sleep.

{ ·~ CHAPTER TWO ~· }

Moonkit woke up the next day with Dewkit prodding him awake. Moonkit swatted her paw with his eyes still closed. Dewkit prodded him more. Moonkit opened one eye. "Dewkit. I'm tired. Go awayy." He moaned and rolled over. Oceanbreeze poked her head in the nursery and meowes, "Dewkit get him out of there!" She meowed and looked around the nursery nervously. Dewkit hissed furiously. "I'm trying but this lazy furball won't get up!"
Wait. Why do we need to get out? Moonkit thought and scrambled to stand up. "What's happening?" He asked urgently and rushed out of the nursery. Dewkit ran out after him. Oceanbreeze led them both to where the clan had gathered under High Rock. "Just listen to Seastar." Oceanbreeze whispered nervously and glanced back at the nursery. Moonkit looked at his mother in confusion and wanted to ask her more, but Seastar had jumped up on the Rock.

Seastar shook his head and whispered something to Spiritsplash, the deputy. Spiritsplash nodded and walked inside the nursery. Seastar scraped his claws against the rock to show everybody's attention.

"Attention every cat." Seastar meowed loudly and looked down at Oceanbreeze. Tallwave twitched his ears irritably and yowled, "Why do we have to wake up so early?!" Moonkit blinked then looked at the sky. It was still dark. The sun had not risen yet. At Tallwave's comment, murmurs of agreement and confusion buzzed around the clearing. "QUIET!" Seastar yowled and every cat stared at him in shock. Seastar never yelled. As far as Moonkit heard.

He continued, "I have called an emergency meeting to announce an important matter." Seastar watched Spiritsplash emerge from the nursery and shake her head. Seastar frowned and went on, "A kit has been stolen from the nursery."

A loud uproar sounded from the crowd. Every cat looked around to see who had gotten stolen. "Lakekit! Where is Lakekit?!" A queen, Pebbleshine, had yowled and started bawling. Hee mate, Reedwhisper, started comforting her. Seastar shook his head. "We found traces of fur and cat paw prints. We haven't found a trace of Lakekit." He meowed and blinked apologetically at Pebbleshine. Reedwhisper spoke up for her, since Pebbleshine kept crying, "Was it a rogue?"

Oceanbreeze sniffed loudly and meowed, "I had woken up in the middle of the night to get a sip of water. I decided to check on the kits and found a hole in the nursery wall. Lakekit was gone when I did a head count." Moonkit stared at Oceanbreeze. Dewkit started wailing, "My sister is gone!!" Moonkit wrapped her tail around Dewkit to comfort her.

Seastar's frown increased. "We have no idea whether it was a rogue but it seemed like it. What would loners have to take from us? Certainly not a kit." He meowed. A buzz of agreement hovered. Bogcrescent shook their head. "And what about Ripple?" He yowled. Moonkit remembered Ripple. Ripple used to be part of Tideclan but was exiled for trying to kill to be deputy. No cat has seen him since.

Spiritsplash leaped onto the High Rock and nodded. "That's true but the last thing we've seen of him was his scent all the way to the Pointed Stones." She meowed reassuringly. Bogcrescent shook their head. Fishpaw stood up suddenly. "Hey, wait a minute. What if Oceanbreeze stole the kit?" She meowed. Heads turned to stare at Oceanbreeze. Seastar and Spiritsplash looked at eachother nervously.

Moonkit stood. "Fishpaw, you know my mother better than me and you know that she would have nothing to gain from stealing a kit. And from her own clan, too." He retorted. Dewkit sniffed and nodded. Oceanbreeze narrowed her eyes and spoke up, "Where would I have hidden the kit, anyway? Queens aren't allowed to leave the camp without a warrior." Cats nodded and turned away. Seastar continued, "We will have a search party tomorrow for Lakekit. Keep an eye out in case the kitnapper comes back. Dismissed."

With that, the clan disassembled and went to their dens. Moonkit hurried to the nursery and curled into a ball in his nest, trying to fight off the worry he had for Lakekit, and himself.
