[RiverClan] wormbite's sparring partners

the grind never stops for wormbite. after being trapped for a long period of time w/minimal exercise his battle skills have become a wee bit rusty & he's loss a lot of muscle mass. (not-to-say-he-had-much-anyway LOL) sooo, i thought it would be neat to find him a couple of warriors he can regularly spar with to help him get back in the grove! also, while wormbite would prefer Not to have friends or make any connections that leave him vulnerable i would actually like for him to build an unspoken friendship with his said sparring partners! i do got a feel guidelines though !

-- someone who can keep up with him !! worm's been active (w/two periods of inactivity) since dec 2019 & is around fifty-six moons so he's decently experienced when it comes to battle. he can care less about who wins or loses (though the more experienced the better) but his biggest strength is his endurance !! (even though his stamina is a bit off atm)
-- somewhat around his age please ! at least 30+ moons, though the larger the age gap the more difficult it is to befriend. (mainly because he feels a need to censor himself, whereas those who raised in lion era/around them less so b/c they have shared experiences,, if that makes sense. cats in their 30's are more likely to get uncle-wormbite-mode. either or is a fun dynamic though im open to explore!)
-- this is dependent largely on the sparring dynamic since if wormbite thinks it'll cause more trouble than its worth he'll stick to no claws but i would like for one or two of his sparring buddies to progress to unsheathed claws ! of course, major injuries are a no-go (accidental is a different story but if they become frequent no more claws) but minimal injuries that they can take care of themselves without going to a medicine cat. wormbite can give a basic aid course if needed
-- less related to the sparring but wormbite is a straight-forward and quiet cat + sucks at social cues. he's also relatively morally gray & an extreme riverclan loyalist . his view on cats largely depends on how they benefit riverclan (thoughheisalsoBIASEDandahypocriteattimes) so do w/that as u will . his character also does explore complex trauma & mental health so there is a large possibility that during spars this is explored. (within a spoiler, ofc!)

Hello! may I offer you my former Wc now Rc warrior Spiraltail!

A basic rundown: Spiarltail is 27 moons old he has a son in windclan though he is extremely disappointed with during his time in windclan he went missing for two moons and was trapped with a group of showcats due to his good looking fur he was taken he eventually managed to escape but once he realizedhis son had chosen a path he did not like spiraltail disowned him.He joined riverclan during the RC v everyone battle by helping Fadingstar

HELLO I have a Beastie. His full bio is in my signature, but he's 44 moons old. I think for the most part they'd get along, both are the silent broody type, a little socially awkward. However Beastflame was a Pikestar supporter (although he was biased since they were mates LMAO) and went missing for eight moons as a result of chasing after Pike and getting caught in a storm, so Wormbite might see an issue with that. As for fighting style, Beastie is Killer Aptitude Tier 3 and relies greatly on his strength and size in battle. He's very direct and forceful, and tends to use his body mass + thick pelt as protection. But he is missing an eye so he has a pretty big blind spot. He's also heavy so he can't climb or turn around very fast in small spaces. Lmk what you think!

SNATCHED !!!!! i think they'll get along pretty well!! wormbite was pikestar's friend, rlly only frowned upon him when the dog incident happened so i dont think it'll be an issue. (he does kind go >:C in regards to cats going searching for someone and as a result end up missing from riverclan but . he's aware he can't say much about it without being a hypocrite so he'll keep his mouth shut LOL)

i also think their fighting styles are a super great contrast since they have completely opposite styles!!! wormbite relies heavily on agility & stamina to tire his opponents out. depends on who he's fighting in terms of whether he leans offense / defense but he does tend to favor the former. (even willingly to let himself get injured if it allows for a better opening.)
as for weakpoints i would say his largest point would be his front right leg. (esp at the ankle) it's gotten injured quite a bit so it's relatively weak & causes him a good amount of pain. his left hindleg too isn't in the best condition but it's more stable/bearable.

wormbite's also fully blind, though he's adapted decently well in relying on his other senses / vibrations during battle since he's had experience one can still try 'n trick em uwu

eep sorry but i think i have 2 decline ;0; ! spiraltail's a little too young and wormbite is a bit stand-offish in regards to new riverclanners, esp those who used to be from other clans until they've stuck around long enough that he reckons they're here to stay & truly dedicate themself to riverclan so i dont think he would seek spiraltail out as a sparring partner. thank you for applying though!
