Your eyes open. A curious sight for sore eyes awaits you. Or so you'd hoped. The trees are gray, dead, it seems. Leaves, fallen or attatched, are nowhere in sight. But perhaps the worst thing would be the crimson stickyness pooling around your paws. your body. every part of you is covered-- drenched-- in blood. You hadnt expected this. What.. what had happened? black snow was falling around you- wait, not snow. ashes. Ashes were falling. the grass was dead, the sky was a horrible shade of gray. What.. what was happening? you open your mouth to speak but nothing comes out. You try to move but you cant. you're paralized. you have to blink, but it seems you cant. All you can do is flick your eyes around, desperate for someone- something- to see you. So you're not alone. So you had at least the faintest idea of what was happening.
Your wish is granted.
A soft humming. A noise you feel almost too relieved to hear. It's a cat, it seems. like you. Bicolor dark gray, like a shadow of something unseen. Brown eyes are curious, paws bloodstained. Wait.. bloodstained. "Hello there. I bet you wonder qhere you are and what youre doing here." they say. You can just only look up desperately. "It's a dream. I'm nothing more than a figment of your imagination. I.. am you, it seems." What? What is she talking about? What the hell are they going on about? You just wanted to get away. "You're young. Weren't we all young.. once? Some of us are just stronger than others, it seems. Some of us are just.. hungrier." Something about her tone makes the blood drain from your face.
No, no no, no. Nuh-uh. The cat inspects you, then looks at their paws, seemingly amused by the stains of blood she had inflicted."I suppose i did this, then. I suppose I'm hungrier than you. Stronger. We used to be weak, you know that? The only difference is you still are. I am you, and you are me. You're the good apple, I'm the bad poison one. But the poison.. it tastes good. It's not all venom. It makes you feel alive." She looks down as though expecting you to reply. But you cant move, so you just stare up in fright. "You never feels as alive as when there's blood. I don't know why.. but its true. Danger, bloodlust.. it's like we're all secretlyl hoping for it. I don't understand that anymore than you do. But you're the victim, and im the killer. I have no alibi, but I don't need one." A nonchalant shrug as she looks around. "Because a good killer never gets caught."

Welcome to the Depths of Hell
I've been in here forever. What do they call it, I don't know and I don't care. I've lost track of time. These furless upwalkers has been dragging us in here for star knows how long. And every second day, they come check up on me. To see if I'm still trapped in their little schemes. Every moon, continuously, they send out fresh kits as house pets. I'm beginning to wonder where they've been stealing them from.
They're trying to catch me, and I won't let them. I bite them hard and they've thrown me to the side. Perhaps if I fight harder, they'll throw me out of this sunless place.
They didn't throw me out. It hurts being in trapped in here doing nothing and I want out. Out. Out. Out!

Air From Above
I'm out. I'm out, I'm so out! Thank the stars, the sun, the moon for Lux. She got us out of that rotten place, fighting tooth and claw for everything we had left. Each other. And we ran, ran far as we can go and then finally, I could finally feel the sun on my pelt. Everything is warm here and I'm never going back to that sunless place ever again.
Lux had decided to call me Aries. I don't know what that means, but if that is what Lux chooses, that's who I am. Aries.
It's lovely being with her. Out here, living as normal as we could. Everyday is like a dream, and I wish it never end. And I wish to stay by her side forever. My savior, my stars.

River of Styx
The upwalkers are back. They are tearing down this place. Why? They've abandoned it, and now they want it back? Just to tear it apart. I hissed and growl, dragging my claws along their legs. It was no use, Lux said we should go. But I wanted to stay. That was my home you destroy! My home! Everything we've worked for last few seasons were gone. Just like that. Gone.
I followed Lux to another place, another upwalker's abandoned home. There's no choice, there's nothing but upwalkers on this side of the world and I hate it. We've slept tired only awaken to the cries of some cat and smell of smoke.
Fire.
I watched Lux charge in to find and save the other cat. That was stupid. So damn stupid. But it's Lux after all, it's who she is. Saving cats left, right, and center. I wanted to go with her, but she had told me wait for her outside. She was firm on it, and I listened. It's okay, I was good at waiting. So I did. But no one came.
There I sat, at the place where Lux had disappeared. Where was she? Did she make it out? If she did, did she not come to find me like she promised? My heart hurts at the chance she's gone. I stayed by the burnt up den for days, lying to myself, that she'll come back to me. She did not, and I...I'm alone in this world again. My star disappeared from me and from the skies above.

It hurts again even as I'm outside where the air is fresh. I just can't feel it anymore, it all feels numb now. I don't even know how I managed to go on this long. I long to be with Lux, but I've fought too much to just give it all up. I walked and walked and walked. Until I stumbled upon this forest. My Stars, you would've liked it here. I wish we could've come here together. I wish...

They Called Themselves a Clan
I told myself to forget. Forget and start over. And that's what I did. At least tried to. I'll try to live the life Lux would've wanted. Helping cats, here and there. Perhaps she'd be proud of me. I hope she is.
I've met this clan thing in the forest. They're...on edge. I supposed one would be if someone they've never met stumbled upon their home. There they had called their leader...Bumblestar. Tsk. The only star I would address in my life is Lux. But remember Aries, you choose to let it go.
I live here with them now. Surrounded by cats that worked like a family. It was probably something Lux would've liked. The only family I needed was Lux. I help out here and there, sure, but I'll never place my trust in them. There's no trust left to share.
Perhaps, if I tried hard enough. I can really start over. These cats had their fair share of hardship. I supposed if they can rebuild themselves, I can to.

Summary
Aries and Lux escaped a breeder, designed to create specific variations of kittens for sale. Together, as partners, they stay out in the streets and lived in an abandoned garage before humans came to demolish it. After running away, Lux got caught in a fire and never came back. Aries was left walking a path of solitude by herself before stumbling upon the clans. She'll make attempts to settle down and help the clan in ways Lux would've.

If Aries doesn't get chosen for this plot, I would still like to use her. After writing her backstory for a bit, I've come to love her character. She'll continue to explore the world as planned.

Extras
- Aries is 36 moons of age
- Aries will think about Lux from time to time. And if she ever see a diluted calico cat, she'll stop in her tracks
- She'll find integrating clan life hard, but she does it anyways
- She has a sharp tongue, very snarky when it comes to speaking
- Her tone to some cats may be flirty in a joking way, just to cover up her pain
- Unless she finds someone to settle down with, Aries may not stay forever. She'll stay for the plot and post-plot. But when it dies down completely, Aries may choose to find her own adventures elsewhere.
Will be on hiatus till the 26th-27th. If there's any updates in this thread, I may not know till then unless I have to check.
