Padding into the outskirts, Shadowtail, the now exiled Thunderclan Warrior, began looking for a place to stay. His body ached from the wounds of the badger attack he had faced earlier that day but he wouldn't just give up. As he looked around he began thinking of his warrior name. Shadowtail. It wasn't fit for him so he decided to go by Stone. He didn't deserve to use his old warrior name no longer.

After many hours of searching, Stone found a den that was a pretty decent size. He looked inside, finding a few rodents, which he killed and put into a pile. This is where he would stay, he decided.

Daffodil didn't really know what to do. She never really DID, now she was alone. She wasn't going to bring her family out here, not after what happened to Poppy.
She padded on aimlessly.
She wasn't staying with them, that life was boring.
She couldn't stay alone forever.
Eventually, she came upon a den. The scent of fresh-kill was coming from inside, but she wasn't a filthy thief.
"Hello?" she called.

Hearing a voice, Stone's ears perked up. He turned to face where the sound of the voice was coming from. There he saw a she-cat. "Oh hi there," he mews in a friendly way. He nudged over a plump mouse. "Do you wish to have some?" He offered.

Daffodil listened to the area around, vaguely suspicious of the cat. But she heard nothing in particular.

' ' I'm..good. How about you?' ' Stone asks sitting down, wrapping his tail around his paws. He watched the she-cat carefully, examining her facial expressions.

"Good too. What's your name? I'm Daffodil." Again, still cautious, she didn't sit down without making sure to be able to scan the area.
She'd never seen this cat before. She wondered where he came from.

Stone awoke in his den a few days later, he stretched his paws and decided to go out for a hunt. He was starving and he was running low on prey. As he padded out of his den, the sun warmed up his fur which was getting dusty. For the first time ever, he kinda felt scared. He had missed the clan so much but there was nothing he could do now. Stone started to run through the Outskirts, looking for a good hunting spot.

After hunting for most of the day, Stone returned to his den, placing his prey which wasn't much into his pile that was hidden in a pile of leaves in the back of his den. Stone stretched out on the makeshift nest he made, tired from the hunt.

After waking up from a restless sleep, Stone decided to try to clean up his fur which looked like a wild mess. He went over, grabbed a mouse and gulped it down, nearly choking on it. Stone went back to his nest, and began to clean his fur. He struggled a bit but pretty soon, he was a bit cleaner and his fur was no longer tangled up. The tom decided to go on a morning stroll around his den. He quickly padded outside into the bright light of the sun and walked off.

Once upon a time, long, long ago, there lived a beautiful prince. He was not handsome, he was beautiful, and he was very, very sweet. And this beautiful, sweet prince lived in a castle surrounded by shadows, by monsters, by creatures that went bump in the night! The sweet prince loved his home dearly. He belonged there, believe it or not. But the master of the shadows, the mightiest monster there was, didn't much care for the beautiful prince. And the prince, as sweet as he was, didn't care so much for her, either. He was still young and full of promise, something that this monster didn't see in him. Something no one in the castle saw in him.

The beautiful, sweet prince made more of himself when he fled the castle and ran wild on the horizon. He tumbled with the best and supped with the worst and between every moonrise, made the most of his day.

Seasons and seasons cycled by and the young, sweet, beautiful prince developed more refined tastes. He learned he could whisper sweet nothings into the ears of grown toms and let them do his bidding, for a while at least. It became a favorite pass-time of his, something that kept him entertained and fed and alive.

Ceri (something he learned to like to go by as of late, a name given to him by someone sometime) smiles to himself as he skips along a thin, wiry footpath through the forest. There wasn't a thing in the world that the tom felt bothered by. The air was nice, light, and breathable. The sky was bright. The breeze was sweet. And he was on his own again! The light-furred calico takes in the view on his way up toward the mouth of a den unguarded and unoccupied. The scent of another cat was fresh enough and the tom hadn't a doubt in his mind that soon, company would find him. He snoops around inside of the den, humming to himself as he tries to figure out who might live here.
