A bemused look crosses the cat's face as Strawberry introduces herself again, after only having done so moments before Nectar recalled her own name. The golden-and-black cat nods politely, realizing she was not about to point it out to her either. It was comforting to imagine that she wasn't alone in struggling to recall the simple things, though.
"Take your time," Nectar murmurs appreciatively, settling down into a loaf. Taking a deep breath, the cat shuts her eyes and rests her chin on the ground. She doesn't quite doze off, but her frayed and tired mind wanders just a little as the other cat hunts up in the trees. She is unaware of the struggle, but this tranquility does not last long.
At least, it doesn't feel like much time has passed when Strawberry comes tumbling down from above, a fresh-caught bird between her teeth. Blinking blearily at the cat, Nectar is slow to stand back up. Her body disagreed with the notion of activity, it seemed, and fought to remain restful.
"It looks delectable," she meows approvingly. Leaning over to sniff carefully at it, Nectar blinks up at Strawberry. She waits no longer to tuck into the prey, and only because she'd come across the white-and-ginger cat after a meal before does she not offer a bite to her now.
When her belly is full and the bird is heartily tucked away, bones fairly cleaned, the gold-and-black cat sighs.
"What now," she muses, mostly to herself.
"What now... Have you got any place to be, Strawberry?"
