If he wanted to help out the Enforcers, who better to ask than the Head Enforcer himself. He padded over to the tom. "Hawkbite! Anything I could help out with? I can help lift some of the responsibilities off your shoulders, if you'd like." he said, tilting his ears towards Hawkbite. Maybe he could lead a few patrols, or maybe spar.

Or perhaps just being an active and helpful warrior would help. Too bad he couldn't leave camp alone... well, once they caught the murderer the restriction would be lifted, and maybe ShadowClan could live in peace for just a moon. That would be nice. He thought back to what Raspberryswirl had told him. A curse that prevented her from ever winning a battle. If there was ever another fight, he couldn't let her get hurt. He couldn't be alone.

Not again.

Hawkbite was face down, loafed in the corner of the camp taking a nap when Foggymask approached and stirred him awake. His eyes blinked lazily up at the warrior as he processed what was happening. Daytime wasn't usually the optimal time to talk to Hawkbite, but he'd been interrupted enough lately that his naps were just for appearance now. Who needed a full days' sleep anyway? Surely not him. He should be normal and sleep at night, but that was when he prowled around the best.

"I mean. The biggest thing I take care of is the training process in a lot of the apprentices. Keeping up on classes and lessons is important. Even holding events to help them gain skills helps," Hawkbite spoke, glancing over at the fresh-kill pile. It had been lower than he liked in recent moons. "I know hunting patrols go out consistently, but making sure the clan is stocked on prey is important. It looks like we're getting low."

Hawkbite would look upwards at Foggymask. Was that what the tom wanted to hear? He wasn't ever sure how to respond when cats asked how to help. He felt it was common sense sometimes, but he supposed some cats just needed a push in the right direction.
