Boredom. Gutspaw was bored, bored, BORED!! The older apprentice was simply stuck in camp, unable to do squat besides fiddle with its paws. At least that was until a simple idea floated into bite's head. Kits were pests at best, evil at worse. Soon, an uprising would commence. It was clear Gutspaw should scare them enough that any uprisings in their tiny little furbrains would cease. Also, telling stories was more entertaining then doing nothing.

It would drag its decorated nest outside of bite's den and to the fresh-kill pile. Of course, teeth made sure to set it far enough to not impede anyone genuinely wanting to grab a bite to eat. It picked up a stick and set it down.

. The feline trotted into the nursery, "YOOoo! Kittios, y'all got five minutes to huddle around the fresh-kill if you wanna hear some super cool scary ass stories, " It yowled, sure hope no kitties were sleeping. Getting angry Queens lecturing teeth would be awfully unpleasant. (er, was the cursing an issue? it hoped not.) Swiftly, Gutspaw exited.

Technically, this was intended to be for the kitties but anyone was welcomed. It wasn't as if really cared or not. So, "SCARY STORIES BY THE FRESH-KILL!" Gutspaw barked out into the clearing, trotting to its nest and taking a seat while teeth awaited for some cats to come.

Even Nightshiver couldn't help the mildly bemused look she gave Gutspaw as bite unceremoniously yelled into the nursery, dropping one of the more common curses heard around the clan. She knew it was unavoidable, but truly she hoped the kittens wouldn't pick up on it so soon -- still, the forever queen indulged the apprentice and turned towards a few of the littles with a bright smile.
"Doesn't that.... sound fun?"
She mused, gesturing towards the freshkill pile from her place inside the nursery.
"I-I bet... Gutspaw... has cool..cool stories, who.. wants to... join?"

Palekit was just done with some scary occurrences just a while ago. Stareaters, cannibals. What's next? Certainly the little pale kit will be able to beat them this time around. Right? In the distance, Palekit catches a spiky furred apprentice with blue eyes yelling to huddle around the freshkill pile. Intrigued, he bounded over as fast as his little legs could take him.

Oooh! More stories! Surely it couldn't be as scary as the one Owlthroat had told him. As more and more cats gathered around, Palekit spotted Nightshiver amongst them. Perfect! He could finally catch up to the forever queen. He had endless of stories and adventures to share.

Palekit ran over and gave the queen a soft bump with his head, and shot her a toothy smile with his eyes half closed. "Nightshiver!"

Perhaps he was a little too excited to see her. "Are you here to listen to the scary stories?"

"I'm not that scared of scary stories anymore! I think?" Palekit questioned exclaimed while questioning himself. "But! But but, Owlthroat told me one a while ago and I wasn't that scared!"

The was a small white lie. Though the story had ended well, Palekit had initially been scared out of his pelt. Right now, he just wanted to prove to Nightshiver he'd grown up. Afterall, he's nearing his apprenticeship.

rookfire had been resting in the clearing when gutspaw strut its way towards the nursery and honestly, his interest was piqued pretty much immediately, rarely observing any apprentices in the vicinity of the nursery unless visiting sibling, which gutspaw didnt have, if he remembered correctly. his suspicion was confirmed when teeth yelled at the kits for apperantly no reason, making the enforcer push himself onto white tipped paws and slowly stroll over just in the time to see gutspaw exiting the nursery swiftly. scary stories huh? why not. without much enthusiam, yet curious, rookfire took a seat by the fresh kill pile, nodding at nightshiver who appeared to have made her way out of the nursery faster than rookfire had bothered to.
"all the kits behavin'?" the tom questioned, more a conversation starter and joke-y sounding enough to hopefully send the right message, head cocked to the side slightly as a slight smile made its way onto his face. cool grey eyes shifted from the forever queen to the little white kit addressing her as well. "hello palekit"
