Mossfreckle had a lot of sad cats in his den, and Birdpaw had taken it upon herself to cheer them up. At least, those who wanted it. There was an apprentice that went in recently with Mistlewhisker, all beaten up and sad. Birdpaw trotted into the den, looking around for Flashpaw. When she spotted her, she chirped and beamed. "Hiya! Can you come out and play?" She looked around for Freckle, but he must have been out or something. Surely Freckle would allow Flashpaw to come play with her! "We won't do anything super crazy, I promise!!"

Flashpaw had come into the medicine den for a checkup that she had been asked to attend, but it seemed that neither medicine cat was present at the moment. Oh well. It didn't hurt her. She felt okay on the outside. On the inside was a toxic tidal wave waiting to crash over her head. The Lost Melody had her gave averted down, feeling quite miserable and uncomfortable, despite the soft nest she had been stationed in. Ginger fur merged with the green moss, and her expression was solemn and forlorn. She hadn't felt particularly happy lately. In fact, she felt as depressed as she was when she discovered a dead body. What a wonderful experience that had been. Eyes slowly began to close sleepily, and her head rested on the edge of the nest, and she laid down, shifting into a comfortable position and curling her tail around her muzzle. Only for a moment...

Her eyes fluttered open as pawsteps were heard at the entrance of the den. Shifting into a loaf, Flashpaw realized it was Cinderpaw's sister~ Birdpaw. Oh! A pleasant surprise. She seemed quite cheerful and that was appreciated, as the blue-gray feline didn't seem remotely bothered by the fact she had killed someone and had admitted to the cats she was close to she felt pride in doing so.. but remembered Birdpaw wouldn't know that. She had no way of knowing. At her request, the loafing classic tabby shifted once more and slowly sat up, giving her a tired smile. "H-Hey, B-Birdp-paw." The Lost Melody mewed. Perhaps a little play would take her heartachen mind off of her mentor and her assassin. "I.. I-I guess th-that'd b-be a-alright." Rising to her paws and stretching each leg in turn, Flashpaw fluffed out her pelt and trotted up to the younger apprentice. "Wh-what d-d-do you want t-to play?"
