Haggard Ruins

Bright light shone into Finbranchs eyes as he bolted past thinning trees. The forest around him acted like a gentle lightshow, shadows and light in high contrast dancing with the wind. It was a beautiful clear day. Finbranch had been assigned a quick patrol by the old camp, and he was eager to head out with Treetiger and Rising storm as his patrol group.

As usual, Finbranch was full of energy. Especially so in the morning. He tended to want to laze about in the afternoon after a good meal of bird, so he welcomed the energy. Before long Finbranch found himself half up a tree, heaving a bit to get to a solid branch but nevertheless successful. He scouted the area for a couple heartbeats before tumbling down without a care in the world. Although the view of the mid-canopy was always stunning to him, nothing really caught his eye. It was hard to miss anything on a such a clear day, any movement would stir the still flora and alert of their prescence."I dont see nothing! You think we'll find anything interesting, Treetiger?" He inquired with a hint of boredom to his tone.
