Bouncepaw pads over, rubbing his sleepy eyes with his paws. An announcement? He wonders what it may be about. He sits down below the branch, ears pricked, listening intently.

Daffodilpaw was startled awake by her leader's summons. She yawned and prodded Bouncepaw with a paw. Giving her legs a good, deep stretch before plodding out to gather with her clanmates, eyes still bleary with sleep.

Heathernose started awake, blinking the sleep from her eyes. She turned in her nest and gave Lionscar's ear a gentle lick to wake him from his sleep, rising to her paws and padded out to gather with her other clanmates.

Rabbitfur l WindClan Warrior l him/her

Rabbitfur lifted his head drowsily and let our a big yawn. He rose to his paws, still somewhat asleep, and trotted out with his denmates. Sitting with his tail resting on the ground beside him as he blinked to try and clear the sleep from his mind.

Maggotkit and Whiterabbit are both in attendance shortly. Whiterabbit's got more thoughts on the situation, being the older and less half-asleep of the two, but she's got nobody to speculate aloud to right now.

Though, really, any cat with a crumb of brain can probably figure out what Twilightstar might need to call an important quick meeting over, so speculating aloud's got no real point. She also doesn't want to get chewed out for voicing her guess and having it be wrong. Some warrior had already poked that hornet's nest last meeting.

Maggotkit falls asleep slouched over its mother's paws and Whiterabbit makes a face, annoyed at being pinned to the spot by a drowsy kitten. Okay. She probably should've just told it to stay in the nursery instead of following her out.

The scarred up Quailpaw trotted up to the meeting area and sat down. She realized Daffodilpaw was nearby. Should I say something? Will she mention the scars, or the nursery, or-- whatever?!

She still hadn't gone to the medicine den to treat her wounds. Her back, her ear--it was starting to hurt again. Just ignore it. You'll be fine.

But I probably should apologize, huh? But how?

Vinepaw padded over his head low he was exhausted though he knew and wanted to be here.His nightmares had went from a small inconvenience to a living hell..maybe he should talk to Rabbitpaw maybe his friend could give him a remedy he was a medicine cat apprentice now.Though he wasn’t sure what could be done to help besides crying out for Starclan

Once he got comfortable sitting he looked around ah Cardinalpaw was here and a few other cats he didn’t recognize. He would have gotten up but he seemed to be glued to his spot he willed his legs to move yet nothing happened. He sighed was this his new normal was there really nothing he could do.

He looked up at twilightstar his blue eyes fixed on his leader if he couldn’t rid himself of his illness he would trudge on and the best way to do that would be to act normal so he was going to sit up straight listen to the meeting chant any names and leave.

"What was that for?" Bouncepaw glares at Daffodilpaw. He shakes off the rest of the sleepiness off his body before he prods her in return with his hind leg.

Power Card: Cold Gust

It'd been three days since Bravebird had died. Three days since he'd stoically helped Hawkfur bury her. Two days since he'd sat at her grave, staring at the stars and broke down in front of Rabbitpaw. His pride still smarted from that, some self sacrificing notion that he had to be strong so others could grieve and not show weakness especially front of apprentice. But.....he had to admit that he felt better now, having spend the third day after Bravebirds death at rest in the nursery with Hawkfur and his kittens.


His nieces and nephews, now without a mother.


Distantly he knew this aching in his core would remain for a time, that grief would linger potentially even forever. But perhaps he could live with that, learn to cope with the pain of a building mountain of losses but keep on moving. He still had cats to live for, Hawkfur, Rabbitpaw, Twilightstar, Lightningstorm, Egretkit, Gracklekit and Crowkit now too and a clan he'd already dedicated his life to besides.


The fury wasnt smiling as he sat beside Hawkfur, a distant sadness in his eyes, but he wasnt the disheveled wreck he'd been in the long drawn days before Bravebird had died. This had to be the deputy announcement he pondered, looking up at the galewood, it'd been too long and it'd been too soon since the last meeting to be anything else. In a way it was a comfort to get some finality in the area.
