What a... fascinating concept. Mistlewhisker looked at the rock again, then at Gutspaw. "I... had not considered it." She remembered her first interaction with Gutspaw, out in the territory at night. Bite had asked if she put things in her eye socket then, too. Back then, she had been surprised and a little confused at the suggestion, but hadn't thought much of it. Why was bite so insistent on getting her to fill the empty socket with something? She was certain that with her activity and movement the stone would not stay in place for long, even with cobwebs.
.... oh, but now her curiosity was piqued.
No, no. Mistlewhisker did not make it to deputy by succumbing to her curiosity. "I think this will make a lovely addition to my nest. Thank you again." The black feline dipped her head at Gutspaw again, bringing the rock closer to her and inspecting it more thoroughly. "You do have the best eye for things like these, don't you?"

quillpaw doesn't seem deterred by quietpaw's lour, simply holding back a small snicker. maw pulled into a smirk, it drops into a slight frown. he shakes his head in disagreement with a click of his tongue.
"sticking my nose in other cats' business? pestering? I've never heard such rude words uttered before." he scoffs, feigned offense in his tone. "it doesn't count as pestering if we're littermates, it's simply..bonding." he informs.
though he doubts quietpaw even knows what bonding is (not that he's very good at it, either.) she seems to have a block of ice in place for a heart.

On no oh no oh no!!! Quillpaw was gonna kill him and hate him like Moonpaw and drive him out into the territory like their brother did!!! 'Meeping' quietly at the beginnings of his sisters snap Bleedingpaw instinctively balled awkwardly, legs betraying him as they sent him into a sprawl instead of a little rolly polly huddle and leaving him vulnerable to... A bap.
A bap? Like just a bap? Hell Grouse gave worse baps then that and he was just playing with the recent kitten.
Large blue eyes, still holding a hint of panicked fear, looked up at the older apprentice, golden head cocking slightly in complete confusion. Why wasnt she more angry? He'd got her tail then yelped annoyingly but she was just asking a question instead. Was this a trap?
The golden bengal had no clue so a little hesitant he just answered the question still half sprawled along the ground. "Uuuuuhmm Im practicing hunting today cus Miss Brairsplash is busy and Mr Pats says I need to work on my battle stuff a lot before he even tries to teach me advanced stuff and I dont have a partner for that so I was just practicing hunting.... Im really sorry I didnt know it was your tail Quillpaw and I didnt mean to yell Ill go away if Ive annoyed you."
That seemed a safer option then making another enemy of a sibling. Bleedingpaw ached for more who cared for him sure, he always did love hungry as he was but it wasnt worth making someone obviously better then him mad. After all, if the rumors were true and Quillpaw was looking to be the first younger sibling made warrior she had to be special right?

practicing hunting? that makes more sense, quillpaw reasons. although, he has no clue who 'mr pats' could be, so he quirks a brow. he scoffs at the apology, seemingly displeased by bleedingpaw's remorseful behavior. he doesn't expect any of his siblings to apologize to him, especially considering he's never genuinely apologized to them himself. he finds it to be weak. a little arrogant of him, perhaps.
"I don't want your apologies. it's disturbing." he bluntly admits with a shake of his head, sharp edge to his voice. there's no true anger in it, however. more or less weirded out by bleedingpaws..softness, the younger reminds him of a squishier version of mirepaw.
"you did annoy me," er..damn. he blinks, before adding on to his words, realizing that it wasn't the best thing to say. "you don't have to go though. you didn't mean to, so it's fine I suppose. I've had far more irritating things happen." like choosing to hunt with darkfall. how mouthy that tom was - unbelievable. he'd be lying if he said the interaction didn't change his thoughts on the tom, though..just a bit.
"if your mentor is busy, just ask another warrior." he says with a click of his tongue. had bleedingpaw not considered that?? he's sure that there were plenty warriors that needed to get off their bottoms and contribute to the clan. "you'd learn better if you practiced on real prey."
