Wow, the chance to train, already? He couldn't pass this up! The sunbleached black tom approached with a curious quirk of one of his brows, and then he noticed–
“Bane!” The tom trilled at the sight of one of his sisters, toddling on over to her to bunt his head against her shoulder.

Any previous issues of anxiety or uncertainty faded relatively quickly as the blue eyed apprentice swiveled her dappled head to face her brother. An uncontrollable wave of sheer delight at the sight of the lightened black tomcat washed over her. Baneberrypaw hadn't talked too much to her siblings since the ceremony- which, mind you, was only a day or two ago (too long for her standards)- so it was a welcome sight for sore eyes. Oh, maybe they'd be on the same team! Then he could see that she was going to be a suuuper good hunter! Lots better than him! Or if they were on the opposing team she realized it would be equally as good to show off her skills she... hadnt learned yet. But would today! Surely she had awesome natural skills right? Like Mamas hunting skills?
"Smolderpaw!" She chirped in delight. "Wow, that sounds awesome to say! Have you been training yet?" Baneberrypaw asked. She hadn't trained yet. This was her first lesson, and she felt pretty excited about that being completely honest. One step closer to warriorhood! She wanted super badly to graduate at the same ceremony as at least one of her siblings so she wouldn't be completely alone.

The tortoiseshell, head swiveling to each apprentice as they padded up, let out a content huff as the other two lionhearts padded up, then cleared her throat. Alright, they had enough cats now, it seemed. Enough apprentices. Blinking her golden hues as she sorted groups in her mind, eventually came to a conclusion of her inner ponders. "All right, seems we got enough apprentices now. Group Blue will be with me, Group Yellow with Brokenstream, and Group Red with Caveclaw." Goldfish began, nodding at each teacher, herself included, in case the apprentices weren't aware of who was who. Mentally finalizing the groups, she allowed her voice to ring clear around the mountain camp.
"Group Blue will consist of Marigoldpaw, Grimpaw, Softpaw, amd Beaverpaw. [ @Marigoldwhisper @Goopysharkboi @SilverChrome_Hwaa @/Idiotic.Bean101]
"Group Yellow will be Baneberrypaw, Smolderpaw, Rainingpaw, and Aspenpaw. [ @/Blaaze @Omari @Yoshodo @burntToast]
"And last but certainly not least, Group Red will be Moonpaw, Sneezepaw, Ravenpaw, and Salamanderpaw. [ @/Goopysharkboi @rubberRatroom @Luna16 ]"
Goldfish then paused for breath, pleased at the fact that there were 12 apprentices which would make teams even. Uneven teams would be unpleasant to say the least. To say the most? Would make some teams have a lesser chance which may lower hunting morale for the apps in the future. Padding briefly off to the side, Goldfish waited for her group to show up before she could begin teaching them and then the competition could begin.

Once enough apprentices arrived, the lionheart who called the event began sorting groups. There were three groups; blue, red and yellow. Oh ok, the lionhearts name was goldfish- wait wasn't that Marigoldpaws mentor? He starkly remember marigold mentioning her. Oh yeah and the other two were brokenstream and caveclaw. He was placed in team yellow., and ofcourse he knew absolutely no one in this group. That was fine! Opportunity to meet more of his denmates.
As the other teams were called out he realised that both marigoldpaw and salamanderpaw where here. He knew them! They're on opposing teams though, but that's fine because either way he was going to win! It would have been nice to compete with his friends but it was also fine to compete against them. Turning to face the time he believed to be brokenstream, he made his way over. " are we going over the basics? How long will that take? Will it be easy??" he asked as he approached. Ofcourse, he couldn't got through a single interaction without asking questions. It was just his thing he guesses. "oh yeah and what's the game plan? How we gonna win this!"

So she had;
Moonpaw, Sneezepaw, Ravenpaw, Salamanderpaw.
One was her apprentice, so this was a bit helpful to that.
She moved to wait for the four to come over to her.

Group Red! Like...like blood and guts. That must be a good sign! Salamanderpaw marches over to sit with Caveclaw, sizing the new Lionheart up. She's funny-looking...but she must be pretty strong.
"You're gonna help us win, right?" She presses urgently, bowling up into the older she-cat's personal space.
“Baneberrypaw–yeah, you’re right. Super cool an’ awesome an’ stuff.” The young tom grinned and leaned against his sister’s shoulder–he could keep himself up on his own four paws no problem, but he liked messing with his siblings whenever it was possible. “Mm, no. This’ll be my first bonafide training experience–isn’t that cool? Having our first training experience together? We’re so cool.”
And with that, groups had been called. Thankfully he had been placed in the same group with his sister, that group being yellow. While he had no issue with playing against his siblings, he preferred to work as a team! Unless it was with Emberpaw. The pair really liked to knock heads, so a competition between them would certainly be legendary!
The dark furred tom headed on over to where the rest of the group was to gather, noting that Aspenpaw was already there, excitably babbling out questions. It would have been irritating, too, if he wasn’t wondering the same exact things…
